Part 6

I yawn as I open my eyes slowly. It's morning. A smell if food could be smelled from my room. Breakfast's ready. I sit down and wipe my face. I yawn again, feeling the need to sleep again. God, was I that tired? What did I do last night? I stand up and change my clothes into my favorite gray hoodie. I go outside my room and go to the dining room.

I enter the dining room and see everyone already starting to eat. "Morning." I greet as everyone in the room look at me in surprise, especially Yuki.

Her eyes brighten as she saw me. She gasps, "Brother!" She quickly run to me and hug me. She buries her face in my chest and... cries?

"Woah, hey." I guess she's just too happy.

"I'm so glad that you are back!" She muffles, still burying her face, "I missed you!"

"Of course I am. Where do you think did I go? I mean last night we just made a pumpkin pie together." She suddenly stands away from me and looks at me weirdly.

"B-but we... we did that two years ago, at halloween..." she stutters.

"Huh? Halloween's over? Hmm, I guess I had forgotten what date it is." I rub the back of my hair awkwardly.

Mom approaches us and whispers something on Yuki's ear. Yuki's face turns surprised. "S-so he didn't remember that incident... at all? When he saved me?" Mom looks at her and nods slowly. Huh? What incident? I wonder.

"Do not tell him. If he knows or remembers, it will cause his brain cells a failure. He will die or..." Mom stopped there as her face turns horrified.

Weird, what should I remembered? "Or what, mom?" Yuki pulls mom's sleeve. Mom snaps out of trance from the (possibly) horrifying image in her mind. She looks back at her daughter. "Never mind. Come on, let's eat our breakfast." She smiles at me.
