Part 9

- Next Day -

Just like the usual morning, I wake up and sit on the bed. That was a good night sleep. I go to the wardrobe and wear my gray hoodie. The weird thing is, the hoodie smells like a delicious piece of steal. But I know I can't eat my hoodie.

I sit on my bed, not feeling in the mood to eat breakfast. I switch on the tv on again, before school starts. Then again, the news channel...

"Another wave of victims found dead in their own houses last night in the total of 12." This time more victims had died. So, the monster can go anytime, any day and night, and eats its victims. That's what I know from the news.

I turn off the tv and pick up my school bag. I go to the kitchen and pack the breakfast in a lunch box and put in my bag. I guess I will just eat that for lunch. I go towards the front door. Right before I open the door mom called me, "Shiro, where are you going?"

"School, mom."

"No, you are not allowed to go school." That's weird, everytime I don't want to go to school, mom always force me to. But this time, mom doesn't let me to go to school?! "Why?" I ask her.

"I can't tell you the reason why... plus, you are already late. Yuki has gone to school an hour ago." Oh yeah, I just realized that Yuki's already gone. I sigh and mutter 'okay' to my mom. I go back to my room.

Well, I guess I have to face the boredom until Yuki comes home. Video games will do.
