TheCorruptingOne: He said that it was a spirit of the Hogwarts. It's understandable if you ask me, I mean, we DO have ghosts around here. Some of which are close to Harry and want to protect him since they knew his parents and since they knew more about them, Harry probably spent time with them to know his parents since he never got to know his parents.
