"We can't stay here for long. The whole world is looking for us." I say, shoving yesterday's clothes in a bag. R snorts. "I know what you mean, but I doubt the whole world is looking for us." I scowl at him. "I get it though. Jeez, stop frowning." He holds his hands up in surrender. I mess his hair up and he glares at me. His hair is slick wet because he just took a shower.
"Hey, how about we get breakfast?" I say, sighing at my stuff. I pat myself to as if there was dust on me and look at R. Then something dawns on me and I slap a hand on my mouth. "Sorry, I forgot. It's so natural for me to eat. I'll just go and -" He strides towards me, gripping my shoulder. "It's fine. I'm coming with anyway."
He tugs me to the door, but I stop him. "R, I don't mind, but..." My cheeks redden. "What?" He asks. How am I supposed to say this without sounding awkward? "Your...mouth..." My cheeks are blooming a garden of rose bushes now. I duck my head. "I don't - just forget it." I wasn't going to face this awkwardly.
How was I supposed to tell him that people might see the blood smeared over his mouth and on the corners near his cheeks might scare people? I don't mind it at all, but what if someone thought he was a serial killer and call the police. Then we'd be in jail and Rachel and Steven will get to us in a matter of seconds.
"Rose, look up." I did, his darkish brown honey eyes unreadable. He wipes a corner, blood smearing his fingers. Then the blood disappears from his face. I gape at his face. "Only you see this, not one else. Got it? Only you can see pass my glamour. And this isn't a regular hotel." He leans closer to my ear. "It's a vampire one."
...
I wasn't sure how vamps knew how to make food, but they did.
It tastes delicious.
I bit into my omelet sandwich, munching and secretly thrilled at the taste that welcomes me. I sip my orange juice, taking another bite. What are we going to do? I thought, glancing at R. As if reading my thoughts, he says, "We'll be going today. I'll tell you later."
I give him a strange look. He shakes his head, then looks pointedly at my food. I munch the last bit, sucking the rest of my orange juice in a hurry. I bite the straw, it moves away from my mouth. R laughs, shaking with laughter. I'm tempted to throw my unfinished glass in his face, but I refrain myself.
I cough, a piece of food lodged in my throat. R thrusts some water to me, but I couldn't grip the glass. "Rosalina, what's wrong?" He asks. Could he not see that I'm choking? I glare at his direction. He shakes me. The last bite tasted metallic, gross. Someone slipped blood in my food. R drags me from the viewers and into a bathroom. Is this really necessary? I thought. He squeezes me, doing the Heimlich. My body falls limp. "Rose!" He yells. "Rose!"
Does he have to yell so loud? It's ear-shattering. My last thought was that he never calls me Rose unless it's something important. Then I pass out.

Vampiros"Go ahead, but Rose..." He starts to whisper and I swear there was probably a sparkle in my eyes as I cover my mouth to muffle my giggle. I grab one of the old-fashion bows and a pack filled with arrows. Axel arms encircle around me and I smirk. We...
