Ryujin recognized Lisa's impatience. He inhaled from the cigarette and opened the bottle of wine. "I'm guessing it's your Little Chili who got into trouble!"

Lisa received the glass of red wine Ryujin offered him, kept his silence, and began drinking on his own.

"She went to investigate Ye Kun but almost got choked to death!"

After a while, Lisa said lightly.

"What a surprise, your Little Chili was still so adorable!"

He smiled as he said that.

Ryujin was an extraordinary-looking person. His posture as he tasted the wine was so elegant, he just did not look like someone who would be called the "Smiling Rakshasa" that everyone feared...

He had been around Europe, and almost all the countries in the vicinity had his name listed as wanted and just slightly shy of being called a terrorist.

Lisa turned around and looked at Ryujin. With a scoff, his voice came through cold and sharp. "Just give up!"

Hearing Lisa's refusal, Ryujin's face contorted. He smiled callously. "You think you can stop me?"

Lisa stood. His emotionless eyes looked as if it was going to send daggers. "Yej had already forgotten you completely! Don't you dare disturb her anymore! Those people out of the country couldn't do anything to you, but in Luo Hai, don't you dare touch even a strand of her hair!"

Ryujin's dark eyes suddenly turned red. The man who was used to manipulating even the weather suddenly felt stifled. "You! You made her forget about me!"

He hurled his wine glass away and showed his ruthless nature. "Lisa, if it were any other things, I am willing to accommodate, but I will definitely take Yeji with me this time!"

"Hmph! You can certainly try!"

Lisa looked like a tiny universe had just exploded inside of him. He only left a sentence before leaving without even casting a second gaze backward.

Ryujin stared at Lisa's silhouette walking away, the corner of his lips curled into an enigmatic smile...

Jennie knew that she messed up. She did not dare show her anxiety. She stayed in Hibiscus Garden obediently the rest of the day, had meals, and went to bed early.

The injured areas on her body still stung. Even though Jungkook had already disinfected the injury and applied medicine on her, they still looked quite bad.

When Lisa had returned, he saw that the air-conditioner was on in the bedroom. His woman had withdrawn into her own under the blanket, clearly in shock. She did not look like she was sleeping well.

Her brows were furrowed, the choke scar was apparent on her fragile neck.

Lisa's hands lightly touched her. The fury he was suppressing the entire trip coming back had subsided completely, replaced by heartbreak.

It was an ache generated from the depth of his heart!

He did not like the fact that she was hurt, especially the fact that she was wronged!

"You insolent girl, now you finally learned a lesson!"

Lisa clenched his teeth. He berated her in his head, yet his touch was increasingly gentler as he slowly soothed the bruises...

Ye Kun's mental state was not stable, that had to do with the inhumane experiences he had endured.

Lisa remembered the other time that Ye Kun lost control, he could not even recognize him, so Lisa did not blame him.

In her dreams, Jennie felt the warm touch on her arms and shook. Her voice quivered a little as she muttered under her breath.

"Brother, Lisa, all of you were... lying to me..."

Lisa's finger stopped at her brows and smoothed the brows that were tightly knit together.

"I didn't want you to know, so why do you have to go investigate? Can't you be obedient for once?"

Lisa whispered in her ear....
