Wei Hongmian took the antique gun out of her bag and gave it to Jisoo. The woman's voice was clear and there was a faint smile on her face. "Jisoo, this is for you."
Jisoo was stunned, but he did not hide his delight. He accepted the gift without holding himself back. "Thank you."
"Jisoo, my grandfather previously seized this gun when he won over the state with his faction. I've heard that it was owned by the enemy troops' high-ranking leader. It's an authentic product that was made in America. My grandfather liked it very much at that time. Of course, no one produces the bullets that are used with it anymore. This gun's only function is as a keepsake now. It can never rival the impressive weapons that you are currently using."
As she spoke, Wei Hongmian's gaze fell on the pistol that had been polished until it glittered. Initially, she planned to donate it to a museum if it was not sold during the auction. She never expected that Jisoo would like it so much.
"Let me know if you see anything you like in the future. I'll give it to you to return the favor!" said Jisoo as he stroked the gun. He could not hide his joy. "It's really a wonderful item. The person who used this gun in the past must have felt really powerful."
The man was beaming. He held the gun and gestured as though he was carefully aiming it at a star. "Men like guns the same way women like jewelry or bags. We can never get tired of them no matter how many we have. This gun might not work, but it's still meaningful. I like it very much. Thank you, Hongmian... I mean, Big Sister Hongmian!"
Wei Hongmian had a rather complicated expression on her face. She took a deep breath before an affectionate look flashed through her gaze. This bighearted man was brave enough to express his true feelings. Although she disliked it when he called her "big sister", she continued to grow fond of the man...
"You don't have to be so polite. We're family after all..." Wei Hongmian felt a lump in her throat when she said this.
She had met numerous outstanding men while she was studying abroad for many years, but there were none like Jisoo.
He was a resolute and iron-willed man who was rumored to be a violent and powerful force on the battlefield. However, he was also highly in touch with his emotions. In other words, he was well-rounded. Yang Fan was impressed that Jiao Shuzhen had such a caring son who always referred to his mother as "Lady Jiao". In comparison to Wei Hongsheng, Jisoo was a considerate and protective son.
He was bursting with potential as a partner. Although he never praised that girl when he spoke of her, there were traces of affection and love in his tone.
He resembled the god of war when he held his gun, but he was a poet when he removed his military uniform. The apparent aristocratic aura that shrouded his body was faintly tinged with a sinister air.
Wei Hongmian's eyes were filled with admiration. She desperately yearned for a relationship with this younger man. She was an experienced woman who wanted to savor young flesh...
Meanwhile, Jisoo only had eyes for the person he liked. He was longing to see the young woman, Chaeyoung. He was an older man who wanted to ravish her youthful body...
"I'm leaving, Big Sister Hongmian. Thank you for your hospitality and thank you for the gift."
There was a gleeful expression on Jisoo's face, and he spoke in a relaxed tone. He waved his hand as he said goodbye to Wei Hongmian.
As Wei Hongmian sent him off, the feelings of disappointment and rejection in her heart gradually grew more intense as she watched Jisoo's figure from behind.
She pondered before she made a phone call and contacted her friend. "Can you help me look into this person..."
