Later, at the store, Tucker grabbed a cart and him and Ben ventured off on their own, so I got one myself and called Riley for help. "What do I get the kid?" I asked, as I picked up a package of diapers.

"Bottles, formula milk, diapers, wipes and if you see any blankets or clothes around her size, that's good too. Oh, and grab some teethers." She said, and I heard the faint noise of someone cooing over Emma.

"Danny feeding the baby? I wish I was there to see that." I snickered and ended the call.

I wandered down the aisle, getting everything that she told me to. I even managed to find a blanket that she could use for burping, but there were no clothes in sight. I chucked a few toys in the cart and decided to search for the boys. I nearly laughed when I found them, considering some woman was chewing them out over the fact that Emma was not able to eat solid food yet. I quickly came to their rescue and tapped the woman on the shoulder, "hi, sorry about these two." I used my charming smile to convince her I was apologizing for real, "my brother has no clue what he's doing."

She nodded and grinned back at me, "good luck." With that, she turned around and continued on her way like nothing happened.

As soon as she was out of view, I burst into laughter, and the guys both have me glares. "Idiots!" I exclaimed, "C'mon, I got everything we need, now let's go."

They grumbled but followed me to the check-out, where Ben paid for everything. We walked back to their apartment just in time to see Riley hop up and head for the door. Danny quickly jumped in front of her and crossed his arms, saying something about his brother's eyes. I rolled my own as she turned bak around and said she'd help out for tonight. "Looks like I'm staying the night." I muttered under my breath and Danny smirked at me, probably having heard it.

I raised my eyebrow, and he grabbed Emma from Tucker, holding her out in my direction. "You haven't had a turn yet, have you?"

I immediately stiffened. I couldn't hold her, I was dangerous. I could drop her, or I could grip her too tightly, or... I glanced up at Danny in fear and silently pleaded him not to make me do this. He noticed my fear and slowly pushed me onto the couch while the other three watched, confused. He placed her in my lap and moved my arms so I was holding her. I looked down to her, wondering if she was ok, and then to Riley. She was looking at me with a proud smile, tears twinkling in her eyes. I grinned, hugging the baby to my chest. Danny was ready to take her back when she started crying, but I stood and bounced her a little, ending her tears. She giggled up at me, reaching for my hair and I let her tug on the red strands.

I guess I could help more too.
