"Dad, we need to talk..." 12-year old Luna approached his father inside his office at home.
Leo Lee was already used to her maturity and seriousness ever since she started to talk. Since the first time she started reading, Luna doesn't read any children's books but the books about running a hotel and all about business.
Even the first word that came from her mouth was not 'Daddy' or anything people expect from an infant, but the word 'hotel'. When Luna was 5 years old, she said to her father that she wanted to run a hotel. That time, Leo was so surprised yet proud of his daughter for already having a dream at that age and especially, it's related to what her father was expert of, business.
Because of his love for his daughter, Leo Lee sold his company and some of his other businesses that was inherited from his and his wife's parents that was entrusted to him, just to build a Hotel for his only daughter's wish. With the help of his acquaintances and other connections, they succeeded on making Luna Lee's wishes come true.
People were surprised to hear that the structure was designed with the help of Leo Lee's daughter. And that's when they started to admire her even though she doesn't like to communicate with other people. Luna stepped into high school at ease, without the help of her father's power, but with the help of her very own intelligence. It is not normal for a child to read serious studies at a very young age.
Luna noticed how busy his father was as he's too focused on the papers. "Dad?"
The 53-year old man looked up to his daughter and smiled apologetically. "I'm sorry honey, I still have a contract to study, but I'm almost done. Is it urgent?" Leo asked.
"Uhh no it can wait, you can finish that first. But it's important. I'll be in my bedroom." Luna said before leaving that room.
Her father smiled at her and continued with his work.
After half an hour, the door of Luna's bedroom was opened and there she saw her Dad. She abruptly got up from her seat and took her hands off from a book about Hotel Management. Heaving a sigh, she asked her Dad to sit on the bed next to her.
"Is there anything I have to know?" Her father asked, dying to know what words will come out of her daughter's mouth because it's not everyday Luna opens up about something like this.
"Dad do you remember the bedtime story I always ask you to read for me years ago?" Luna started, she's trying to slow things down so that her father won't be shocked about what she's gonna say.
"Yeah, isn't it 'Hotel Blue Moon'? That's when both of us got into hotel stuff right?" Leo chuckled as he remembered.
"Dad this might appear unreal and unbelievable. But promise me you will understand and believe me."
Though getting all mixed up with the sudden character, Leo managed to smile at his daughter. "I never believed anyone more than my daughter. I promise."
"People think I'm already matured as a girl because I don't act childishly. I waited to turn 12 to tell you this because if I told you any sooner, I know no one would believe." Luna looked down to not meet his father's eyes.
"Luna... What's the matter?" Her dad asked worriedly.
"I still remember my past life Dad. Unlike other children, they act innocently because they still don't know how to view the world, but in my case, it's--different." She gulped a lot of times as she feels uncomfortable with the situation.
