Katie: Why did you let her stay for just three meals?
Edward: Mm... maybe because I liked her coffee.
Katie: Look, I want serious answers for my videos. You weren't down even after Halsey's threat and you tell me you agreed because of coffee.
Edward: Well, at first and then I saw your monkey face, thought it would be a good entertainment with a monkey around.
And, they're at it again...

(Edward)
When I had come home that day, it was after a month long business trip. I was dead tired and just wanted some rest. I knew that Halsey would not be home, I didn't want to go through the main door and see an empty house.
It was normal for me to see the house with souls of lonely furniture around, but I never got used to it.
It doesn't feel good to be welcomed by your own echo, does it?
The aroma of coffee had brought back the homeliness in my always empty house. I had missed the warm feeling of someone being home when I come back.
I, of course had no idea it wasn't Halsey.
Halsey and Jorden were busy when I was young, but they always made time for me. It all changed after Jorden passed away few years ago. Halsey couldn't handle it and closed herself from the world. It was after the treatment that Halsey found peace.
Travelling helped her move on. She left her sad memories and found new ones while seeing places. I was happy for her, I couldn't bear to see her in the state she was before, I really was happy, but I had become alone. Again.
Her trips lasted for weeks or months together, it was hard to even see her face.
"I'm the hot breeze, young man. You can feel me but can't catch me", she used to say in a dramatic tone with a big evil smile on her face.
To see her smile like that and get back to her old self was like seeing a bouffe after starving for days. I was beyond elated, but as selfish as I feel for it, I was left alone.
Eating irregular meals with no proper sleep had become the new normal for me.
The first proper meal I ever had in years was when Halsey had taken me out for lunch at a diner after coming back from a trip.
The food tasted like home and the lady there was like an angel. Her heart was as beautiful and kind as her appearance was. When I had complimented the food, she had told me that it was her daughter who cooked it.
That's when I had first seen Taylor, a girl who was wildly typing something on her computer, mumbling something in anger. She banged the keyboard when her mom called her and stormed inside.
This was six months before she moved in. I had no idea that I'll meet her at my house again as my tenant.
Our second meet was a not so happening.
I had wanted to joke around with Halsey and decided to wear the pink shorts she had bought for me to tease me. Little did I know that the voice that had called for help was not Halsey's but belonged to a my new housemate who was going to drench me.
It was the most awkward situation I had ever been. I was wearing the 'not so manly' shorts that of course made the girls burst out laughing, but her case was different.
She was so busy laughing that she had forgotten the state she was in. If the situation was any different I might have had time to look her her legs, but lets not talk about it.
