Chapter 25

Hannah's POV:

Today's been so fun with Cam. First we went to the fair and went on all of the rides. Then we went to the mall and he bought me so many new clothes, bags, jewellery and other things.

Right now we are at nandos and we just finished eating. Cam has been acting weird all day, like buying me stuff and taking me loads of places. He also seems nervous, like there's something at the back of his mind.

"Cam" I said causing him to snap out of his daydream.

"Umm...yeah what?" He stuttered.

"Are you okay? You've been nervous all day" I said as his expression changed to worried.

"Umm yeah I'm fine...actually no...I'm not" He said scratching the back of his neck letting out a long sigh.

"Why? What's wrong?" I questioned. He paused for a minute thinking then started to speak again.

"I have to tell you something. Your not going to like it, but there's nothing we can do" He said looking at me guilty.

"Cam what is it?" I questioned eager to know what it is he's talking about. He let out another long sigh.

"Nash can't afford to have Hayes stay at his house because he doesn't have a job and doesn't pay rent. I can't afford to have him stay at ours either. Mum said she can't have him at hers because money's tight" Cam said. I'm so confused right now.

"Well, he should just get a job" I said in a duh voice.

"Hannah, it's been decided" he said looking down.

"What has been decided?" I questioned still confused.

"Hayes is moving back In with his parents" He said looking at me with sorrow. What the fuck did he just say.

"B-but they live in Minnesota. Th-that's ages away" I said in disbelief. He can't be moving all the way back to Minnesota. I won't be able to see him for who knows how long.

"Hannah I'm-"

"No" I said cutting Cam off earning dirty looks from other people also in the restaurant.

"No" I repeated quieter as i got up and ran out of the restaurant, tears filling my eyes making it hard to see. I ran as fast as I could back home which was only round the corner.

Once I got back i barged through the door to see all of the contents that was on top of the units, on the floor and things that had been thrown everywhere. I looked around which was hard because of my tear filled eyes. I saw Hayes sat on the floor with his head in his hands balling his eyes out.

"Hayes" I whispered. He looked up and faced me, as soon as he did he shot up and ran to me, picking me up and hugging me so tight.

"I-i'm going to miss you s-so much Hannah" He said in between sobs.

"Wait, your not actually going through with this are you?" I questioned pulling away from the hug.

"i-i....yes" he whispered.

"What! No Hayes y-you can't go. I need you here" I pleaded holding both of his hands.

"What choice do I have. Anyway Nash decided the sooner the better so he booked me an early flight. I go tonight instead of next week. All my stuffs packed and in the truck. Nash is in the truck waiting for me. I need to leave now so I don't miss my flight" He said which caused him to cry even harder.

"No! Hayes please. Y-you can sleep in my room I c-can take the sofa. y-you can stay at a hotel...y-you can-"

"Hannah" he said cutting me off. He reached up and wiped my tears away, only to be replaced with fresh ones.

"It's Been decided. I have to go" He said. I sighed and wrapped my arms around his neck as he wrapped his around my waist. I buried my head in the crook of his neck still crying. We stayed like that for a few minutes until he pulled away.

"Here" he said pulling out a small box with a light blue bow neatly tied around it. I took the box from his grasp and opened it. Inside was a beautiful golden ring that was shaped like a crown with small diamond on it.

"It's a promise ring. As long as you have it. I'll always be here right next to you. It will remind you that I still love you and I promise that I will carry on loving you until the day I die. I promise I will never completely leave you. Yeah, I know I'm moving 21 hours away but I'm not completely gone. I love you" He said sliding the ring on my finger.

I kissed him passionately on the lips for about a minute until we pulled away out of breath.

"I love you to Hayes. So much. Never forget that" I said as he walked out to Nash's truck. His bags and stuff were already in there. He gave me one last hug goodbye and got in the truck. Nash started the engine and drove off down the road. Hayes sticking his head out waving until his face disappeared.

maybe forever.

Who knows.

But now it's just me, Cam and Nash.

The three amigos.

But it won't be the same.

It won't ever be the same...
