Chapter 7

Hannah's POV:

I woke up with a pair of muscular arms wrapped around my body. I fell asleep with ease and slept through the whole night without getting a nightmare or waking up. I looked up and was instantly faced with a pair of ocean blue eyes and a tired looking Hayes.

"Good morning" He said in his morning voice, which may I say, is highly attractive.

"Good morning" I replied with a smile. my smile grew bigger when I remembered i had a date with Hayes today.

"So, where are we going for this date of ours?" I said getting up from the bed.

"It's a surprise" he said childlike.

I groaned loudly in frustration. I hate surprises. knowing something's going to happen but not knowing what it's going to be. Being held in suspense, absolutely clueless.

I looked round the room and to Cam and Nash's empty beds. They must have slept in one of the boys rooms.

"When are we going Hayes?" I questioned as he exited the bathroom.

"Well, we're going out for the day for a surprise, then we'll come back and at 6:30 I'll come to your room to take you out for a dinner" he replied slipping his vans on. Damn he gets ready fast.

"Hurry!" He nagged pushing me into the bathroom and closing the door for me. I took a shower and got dressed into white jeans, a black and white, long sleeve Aztec crop top, my black and white gradient roshe runs and my locket.

I put my hair in a messy pony tail and put on some concealer to cover the dark circles that surround my eyes then exited the bathroom.

"I'm ready" I said, grabbing my phone, money and key card off the nightstand and put them in my pocket.

"Let's go!" Hayes shouted like a five year old. I giggled at his Immaturity and went to go find Cam.

I got to Jack and Jacks room and heard a bunch of boys laughing. I gathered the teenage mob was in here.

I knocked on the door because I don't have a key card to their room. a few seconds later a smiling Jack answered the door.

"Why hello young Jack, is ones brother in this room" I said mocking a posh British accent.

"Why yes he is my lady" Jack reply the same as i, bowing to the side for me to enter.

I looked around the room and saw Cam lying on one of the beds on his phone.

"Cam, I'm going out with Hayes for the day okay?" I said in a childlike tone.

"Okay. Wait, it's not a date is it?" Cam said with suspicion now focusing all of his attention to me.

"No!" "Yes!" Me and Hayes said at the same time. Him being the one that said yes and me being the one that said no.

"Wait. So it is a date?" He said now standing up from the bed trying to go all Sherlock Holmes on me.

"So what if it is, Cam I'm 16 years old I'm not a baby anymore" I replied sort of getting annoyed at his over protectiveness.

Cam let out an elongated sigh.

"I know. Its just, I don't want you getting hurt. I know your 16 but you'll always be my baby sister" he replied looking down at the floor.

I walked over to him and went on my tip toes so we were the same hight. I wrapped my arms around his neck and he wrapped his around my waist. I rested my head on the top of his shoulder.

"So is that a yes to the date then?" I whispered with a giggle. We both started laughing.

"Yes. But if you hurt her I'll hurt you, got it?" He said, averting his gaze looking Hayes dead in the eye.

"Yes sir!" Hayes shouted saluting, as if he were a soldier.

"Right lets go" I pushed in between laughing. Me and Hayes walked out of the room and out of the hotel.

"So, where to?" i questioned hoping Hayes would give in and tell me. But this is Hayes Grier we are talking about and he is a man of his word.

"It's a surprise! I already told you that" Hayes said loudly earning looks from passers by.

I groaned in frustration but followed him as we walked down streets and through alleys. We finally got to a woods.

There were over grown bushes and trees so there was hardly a clear path. I looked at Hayes with a 'you have got to be kidding me' look. he just laughed at me and took my hand, guiding me through the woods.

There was a big fallen tree so Hayes jumped over and held out his hand. I took it and stepped up onto the tree. It was surprisingly high when I got up there and the slimy moss prevented me from jumping down. The idea of sliding down was completely out of the picture considering i was wearing white jeans.

"Here" Hayes said wrapping his arms around my thighs and lifted me down as i thanked him.

We walked for a minute before reaching an opening. It was utterly beautiful. There was a lake that flowed gently down stream and a large willow tree that swayed in the breeze. The grass was a bright green colour and was so fresh, as if it had never been stepped on before.

There was a red and black tartan picnic blanket laid out with a wicker basket on top. Hayes took my hand and lead me over to it. We sat down as I took in our surroundings.

"This is beautiful Hayes" I said gaping in awe at the view.

"Me and my dad used to come here all the time before he left" Hayes admitted as his eyes trailed down to his fingers that danced along his legs playing with the material of his jeans.

I reached over and grabbed his hand tightly as he looked up and smiled. He got the basket and opened it revealing a delicious ray of foods. We sat, ate and ran about like kids just enjoying the warmth of the sun and the cool breeze.

"Tag your it" I shouted tagging Hayes as i got up off the blanket and started running. I don't think he can get up fast enough to catch me. Not with the amount he eats on a daily basis.

Before I could think anymore I felt two muscular arms wrap themselves around my waist lifting me up and spinning me around in circles.

"Hayes stop! I'm dizzy!" I shouted to Hayes as he put me back down. I turned around and we were both still laughing. His eyes locked with mine and it fell peacefully silent.

The only sound was the chirps of birds and the rustling of the leaves on the trees. We stood there gazing into each other's eyes. The moment was perfect.

Hayes started to lean in and without even thinking i did the same before feeling his soft plump lips connect with mine. Sparks were flying, fireworks were going off inside my body and my stomach was doing backflips. This moment couldn't get any more perfect.

After a while we both pulled away, breathing heavily getting our breath back.

"Wow" was my only words. My only thoughts. My only answer
