Edward pov

We all were in the English period in school when the teacher, Mr Banner entered the class,

"good morning class. I have an announcement for u all. The school is organising a trip to Italy. Especially Verona as we are doing Romeo and Juliet this year. Please get the consent fRom your parents and guardians. Also u can get one friend extra with you. But they have to give their consent and fees. Any parents who want to volunteer to come can give their names. " he went on to give the details. Bella was bouncing on her seat with happiness. She looked at us smiling widely. But frowned seeing our worried expressions.

"whats wrong baby?" she asked me as I was the closest to her at the moment.

"love Italy is sunny. We won't be able to go out or we will be exposed. Also it is the place of residence for the volturi  "

She frowned and then smiled again but this time it was devilish. "we r going. Just wait and watch "

"how can we go darlin" jasper asked

"don't underestimate a Salvatore Jasper" Bella said.

After school we were sitting at our place with Bella in my lap. Jacob, Leah, Monica and Paul were going with their mates and were also over at our place with them. They were also skeptical about us going.

Bella just sighed and raised her hand to stop the conversation.

She picked up the phone and dialled a number, "dam dam "

"isa whats up sweety?" Damon said

" the school is organising a trip to Italy, I want to go. But the Cullens "

"it will be done. In an hour u will have what u need"

Bella smiled ans squealed," love u Damon"

He laughed and said, "love u too. Tell me when u leave and reach Italy" Bella hung up and smiled at us secretly.

One hour later we heard a car pull up outside. Bella ran to open the door and nodded to the woman who handed her a box and bowed and left.

She came back and propped on the table opening the box. Inside were four rings and three necklaces which had the same blue coloured stone in them. Bella took a necklace and reading the name handed it to Alice. She gave one each to rose and esme and the rings to us. "not on your ring finger. There is time for that. Put it on the pointer finger of your right hand.

We did as we were told. Bella took our hand and led us to the sunlight.

We stepped into the sun and were shocked to find that we were not sparkling.

Jasper pov

We all stared at Bella for an explanation. "daylight protection rings guys. Lapis lazuli"

She took another box and put it in her bag. "who are those rings for? "

Carlisle asked

Bella sighed and said, "the volturi"
