Hiding in the ceiling, Maya stared down as Marcus was talking with Silco "you said you could control them, I lost six officers, six" he said, his voice cracking slightly.
Silco barely paid him any mind and stared absentmindedly at the enforcer "I can't help you this time, the councils up in arms, you have to give me something to work with" Marcus said leaning forward.
Grabbing a cigar out of his pocket, Silco cut off the tip "arresting them would be doing you a favour" Marcus said and Silco cut the cigar wrong.
Maya scoffed, dropping from the ceiling and landing in Marcus's lap who let out a grunt and stared at the girl "awww, you wanna arrest me" she giggled, running her hand down his jaw "I didn't realize we where that close."
Marcus stilled and looked at Silco for help "he doesn't need favours" she whispered, smiling as he looked uncomfortable.
"I need you to do your job" Silco said, putting the cigar in his mouth and breathing deeply "yeah, you messed up Marcus, maybe it's time to bury the lot of the enforcers" she teased, gripping his chin.
"The firelights have been a thorn in both our sides" Silco said, laying blame on someone else "yeah, there is the councils targets" Maya chuckled, leaning close enough that she could feel his breath.
He looked wide eyed at her "Maya stop intimidating him" Silco snapped and she huffed, moving her head back and wrapping her arm around his neck.
"Isn't that convenient for you" Marcus snarled looking at Maya "it is" "I should put you in Stillwater just because I can" he threatened. Maya glared and grabbed a bunch of his hair yanking it backwards "Maya, let him go" Silco demanded.
"But he-" "Maya" Silco repeated and pointed to the door, not leaving room for any argument. She frowned, electrocuting herself once and getting a yell out of Marcus before she walked towards the door.
As she opened the door, Silco stopped her "your with Sevika today" he said and she whirled around "SEVIKA!" She shouted "no, I'm with Jinx" she tried but Silco gave her a look.
"She's down at the bar, don't cause any issues" Silco said and let her go. Maya left the room and slumped against the wall, listening to the last part of the conversation "you ever threaten her again, and it will be you on a ship to Stillwater."
Maya smiled and skipped down the stairs, a smile on her face until she nearly ran into Sevika "at least I'm not getting the Jinx" Sevika said looking annoyed.
"Hey cyborg don't think I'm happy about this either" Maya snarled and yelped as she was shoved into a nearby wall, Sevikas arm pressed against her stomach harshly.
The older lady found joy in Maya struggling and trying to move the robotic arm "your only strong in a team, don't forget it" Sevika said and let Maya go.
The girl glared and stomped behind Sevilla, following her down a couple alleys.
"What are we doing today" Maya asked, gripping into a pipe above her head and swinging, landing on Sevikas shoulders, tightening her legs around her neck.
It only last a second before she was grabbed from the bottom of her shirt and dragged off, landing on the bumpy ground. Maya coughed, curling into a ball slightly "remember the only respect I have for you is Silco."
Maya glared and got up, walking beside Sevika as they approached a table with cards on it "seriously, we are playing cards" Maya asked annoyed.
"No" Sevika said and sat down in one of the chairs, Maya almost got excited "I'm playing cards, your sitting on the ground" Maya pouted, before going to walk away.
She was yanked back by a strong arm and tossed into a wall, Maya groaned and rubbed her back, staying where she was against the wall "I'll tell Silco" she said, dropping against the wall disappointedly.
She whistled to herself until to men came down the alley and sat in other chairs, Sevilla immediately dealing out the cards.
Maya laughed, she could see all of Sevikas cards, so instead of minding her business, she would hold up her hand to show the men what she had in her hands.
Every time Sevika lost she became more annoyed, clenching her hands slightly.
It lasted a few more rounds until she realized the men kept glancing behind her.
Spinning around, she caught Maya holding up two fingers "why you-" Maya almost laughed, if it wasn't for the knee that made contact with Sevikas cheek.
The two men scattered as Maya shot up, her brain screaming loudly as she slowly bunched a lot of power in her hands, looking around trying to focus her mind enough to see who was attacking Sevika.
"Where is my family" a familiar voice screamed and cut right through Mayas head, she crouched down, holding her now shrieking head. She let out a scream of her own, not being able to hear it from the deafening sound of the screams.
A hand grabbed her shoulder, and the only reflex the girl had was to use all the power she had gathered and shoot it at whoever was closest.
It hit a pink haired girl who went sailing into a nearby wall just in time to miss Sevika throwing a punch.
Sevika looked a bit startled, blinking once before looking at Maya who was panting heavily.
"I need to go" she said but couldn't stand up, something seemed so familiar about the pink hair.
Sevika gave her one last glance before getting punched and almost sent to the ground. Maya cried out against, clutching her head and shaking it trying to get rid of the screams.
"JINX" she screamed, wanting the blue haired girl, at least then she knew everything was alright.
Maya looked up just in time to see Sevika whisper something to the girl with pink hair and stab her in the stomach.
"Finish it Sevika" she screamed catching the older lady of guard as she looked up. A bullet shot through the air and hot Sevikas arm who let out a yell and stood up, more bullets hitting the mechanism.
Sevika looked at Maya with one order "leave" she mouthed and took her own escape down an alley leaving Maya struggling with someone who could easily kill her.
Instead of taking chances, Maya electrocuted herself and tried to calm the voices.
"JINX" she screamed again, slowly loosing her mind as the screams kept getting louder, she almost lost it as someone touched her, immediately recoiling from the electricity.
Sitting up and looked around, seeing two people.
Part of her recognized the pink haired girl but she couldn't focus enough to find out from where.
Pushing herself up onto her feet, she felt shaky, her head was pounding and she accidentally let her guard down.
With no protection, someone shoved her into a wall and placed a gun into her hazy face. The only thing Maya could focus on was the gun, and how Jinx used them and constantly put it in her face.
"Oh Jinx" she said softly and hugged the girl kissing her on the cheek, feeling Jinx straighten up and try and pull away "we should get back home to Silco" she mumbled.
The voices finally calmed down, seconds before she passed out "Maya? Can you hear me?"
