dinner

right across from me was camilo, he noticed me looking at him and smirked, i winked then looked at my food.
" mirabel who is this?" abuela alma asked while pointing at me with a fork.

" oh this is y/n, i met her earlier today!"  

"hmm ok, its nice to meet you y/n," a few more people asked questions and once questions where answered i finally started eating and then mirabel starts asking me questions.
"hey y/n whats your favorite book?"
" i really don't know there are a lot of good ones but my favorite genres are science fiction and mystery," i said.

" ohh cool i really like fantasy and science fiction," she said in an excited voice.
we talked a little more about books and other things we're interested in, then mirabel exused herself and right after i did too. we went up to her room and she showed me some of her dresses she made or embroidered. i was honestly impressed.

"that's amazing," i said looking at a forest green skirt with flowers and birds embroidered all around it.
"thank you!" she said with a giant smile "its my most recent one, also my tío bruno can see the future and i was wondering if you wanted to go get a vision from him, its amazing when he does it!" 

"i would love too that sounds cool," she grabbed my hand and brought me past some doors to brunos door.
"this is his door, lets go."
"getting a vision from bruno princesa?" camilo came from behind us.

"mhmm, wanna come with us?" mirabel replied while opening the door.
"i have nothing better to do," camilo says while walking through the door after us, he walks on my right side while mirabel is in front of us.
"thats a lot of stairs." i said in surprise.

"i know but in order to get a vision we have to go up there."

[time skip because im too lazy to write about them walking up stairs, camilo teases y/n and eventually they get too the top]

"finally," i said breathing heavily.
"its worth it, trust me." mirabel said before yelling for her tío.
"hola mirabel and camilo, and other person" he said with an awkward smile.
"hi tío bruno, y/n wanted a vision so we came up to get a vision." mirabel said walking fowards.

"oh ok i can do that, come on," he said awkwardly while gesturing to a big door. we walked in and there was a bunch of sand and sticks, it looked like a ritual honestly. he lit some sticks then had me sit down.
"you two can leave, this is y/n vision not yours." bruno spoked while pushing the air as if he was pushing the other two out of the room.

"you might want to hang on" he said putting his hands out for me too grab, i hesitate but i grab his hands and he closes his eyes. sand starts rising and swirling around us. he opens his eyes and they're glowing green. i look around and it looked like a wedding, it was my wedding, i couldn't see my future husbands face, they had on a ruana, it was quite a fancy one though and fluffy hair. then it switched to a scene of me with my future husband in front of a priest, my future husband leaned forward and kissed me then all the sand fell .
"that was really cool." i said trying to figure out who the person i was getting married too is.

"i agree," bruno says and he hands me a bright green thing that seemed to be glass. it had my vision on it, it was like someone took a photo of me and the person right when we kissed. "this is yours to keep,"

"oh thank you bruno, also do you know who the person in the vision is?"
"no i do not, im sorry y/n," he says with a sad smile.

"its okay, dont worry," i said "i'll be leaving now bye bruno"

"adios y/n, have a good night" he says while i walk out the door. i put the vision behind my back hiding it from camilo and mirabel.

"what was the vision? can i see it" mirabel asks.
"it was just me with someone." i said and then awkwardly laughed.

"who where you with hermosa?" camilo says leaning closer to me.
" i cant tell but it might be you guapo," i said and then smirked.

"can you two love birds start walking, it's getting late and y/n should be getting home soon." mirabel says looking at us with her hands on her hips.
"oh crap i didnt tell my mami i was coming here, shes probably worried, we need to hurry," i said in a panic pushing past camilo almost dropping the vision. i ignored camilo talking until i was outside the casita headed home.

"hermosa you're walking too fast, slow down." camilo says walking behind me and grabbing my hand. he pulled me towards him.
"camilo i need to go, my mami is probably worried sick, i would love to stay but i need to go. i'll see you tomorrow." i said talking fast before pulling away from camilo.

"ok princesa, i'll see you later, buenas noches." he says right as i turned around
"adiós camilo,"

camilos pov
i said bye while she turned around and walked away.

"shes a pretty girl isnt she camilo?" my mamá said when i walked back into casita
"yeah i guess" i dont know how to respond to this, i just met her and my mamá is already asking about her.

"you too would be cute together," my mamá said smiling.
"MAMÁ"
"im being honest hijo, she should come over again," there was a small rainbow above my mamá.
"mamá she's just a freind, i just met her today. i barely know her," i said looking at my mamá.

"i know hijo, shes just so pretty and i see the way she blushes when shes around you and you're teasing her." my mamá says with the rainbow disappearing.
"okay mamá, im going to bed." i headed to bed thinking about what my mamá said.
does she actually blush when i mess with her? i never noticed, but my mamá might be making it up or imagining things.
i stayed up thinking about it a little more then went to bed.

y/n pov
i left the casita and headed home walking fast, i didnt tell my mami i was leaving so she's probably worried. i stood outside my house slightly scared to go in.
"mami im home!!" i yelled. my mami came down the stairs and hugged me.
"excuse me young lady, why where you gone so long!" she said sounding upset. "i told you to get the fabrics and come home"

"i know mami and im sorry, i got the fabrics, brought them home then went outside to read, while i was reading a girl named mirabel came over and started talking to me. then she invited me to dinner and she brought me to her house and i forgot to tell you." i said trying to talk in a calm voice so i wouldn't upset my mami.
"where does mirabel live?"
"she lives in the gifted house, shes safe mami"

"ok but i still want to meet her parents sometime," my mami said with a serious but calm expression.
"ok mami, also where is Eleana?"
"shes in her room" my mami responded pointing to my sisters room. i ran up the stairs and knocked on Eleanas door.
"come in" she replied. i walked into my little sisters room to see her lying on the floor coloring, i then sat beside her on the floor.
"hola hermana, how are you" she looked at me and smiled

" im good y/n, where was you today?" she said in a sad voice.
" i was with some friends mi vida, im sorry i wasnt here to play."
"its okay, you're safe so its okay." she said hugging me. i hugged her back.
"can you stay in my room tonight?" she said while grabbing her drawings. shes still young and scared of the dark, she normally goes into our mamis room.
"of course hermana." i said smiling and bringing her to bed, she got under the covers and i joined her.

"can you sing the song please please please" she said eagerly.
"there are a lot of songs which one do you want?"
"my favorite one." she said cuddling up to me. i hugged her and said "ok, but you still need to get sleep,"
"i know that but can you sing pleaseee"
i laughed and started singing her favorite song

"where the north wind meets the sea, Theres a river full of memory, sleep my darling safe and sound, for in this river all is found," she giggled slightly and closed her eyes.

"In her waters deep and true. Lie the answers and a path for you, Dive down deep into her sound, but not to far or you'll be drowned," i sung softly as Eleana slowly started drifting to sleep.

"yes, she will sing to those who'll hear, And in her song, all magic flows. But can you brave what you most fear? can you face what the river knows?" i heard my mami walk by and stop outside the door, she opened it softly to listen, i smile then continue singing.

"where the north winds, meet the sea, there's a mother full of memory, come my darling homeward bound, when all is lost, then all is found," i finished the song and said good night to my mami, then went to bed
