So, "These Rainy Nights" was originally a very short and incomplete story written in 2020 and early 2021. These updates were very sporadic.
Then, I turned the story into a poem under the same name. It was in my poetry book, but I later unpublished it.
However, I looked back in this story and honestly, yeah, I wanted to rewrite it. It wasn't good, but the idea wasn't terrible either.
This short story is sort of like a journal entry, or a diary, from the protagonist. It's about her life and how she copes after the loss of her husband.
Each 'entry' will be the nights after his death.
I will share the poem as well.
So without further ado, enjoy the story!
