(Genuinely never thought I'd touch this book again, then I watched a reel of scenes on YouTube, had a thought and was like "hey, didn't I already start writing this down...?")

Back in Westeros, things would be going far from smooth...

Cersei had taken Litha's word to heart and decided not to touch her family...

Instead, she had King Robert killed on a hunting trip and when Ned questioned her children's blonde hair? She had him arrested as a traitor and imprisoned while Joffrey ascended the throne. Then, when Robb heard the news in the North? He threw half the country into open rebellion.

One that wouldn't end well for Jaime in but a few short months when he managed to get himself captured just before word reached Westeros of Viserys Targaryen being unseated by Litha. Or rather, by Visenya Targaryen who was returning home to help Robb's cause by leading a small guerrilla force of Dornish mercenaries, Dothraki screamers who'd pledged themselves to her as Blood Riders after defeating Viserys and according to the rumors...? She was bringing mementos from the Shadow Lands in the form of dragon eggs. Having sought them out for her fortune, according to Lord Varys...

But that was far from the truth...

"We're ready, your Grace," Tavio said to her as she stood blank-faced. Staring out over the ocean, wondering what Danaerys might be up to. What preparations she might be making for her baby on the way. Wishing her life could be so simple again.

Wishing her father had never agreed to leave Winterfell...

"Very good, Tavi," she said distantly as she turned to the pyre they'd built on the beaches of Dragonstone. Hoping to all the Gods that her magic would not fail her. Either that, or she was about to die...

Though, as she stepped toward the pyre where captured Lannister scouts were tied up? Pleading for their lives even after attempting to sabotage her Tavi's ship? It occurred to her that this would either work, or it very suddenly wouldn't be her problem anymore...

But either way, these obedient dogs would get what they deserved...

Taking a breath, closing her eyes, Litha would set aside the Snow in favor of fire which gathered in her palms. Bringing her hands together with a second deep breath, "I, Visenya Litha of House Targaryen, in the name of the Father, hereby sentence you to death," she announced as the fire in her palms condensed into one ball over one hand. The orb of flame tightening as she stepped over the border of the wide pyre. Approaching the middle as the flames then exploded from her hand.

The raging inferno soaking the wood and victims around her like living napalm. Her followers standing back, having to retreat several yards from the intensity of the heat, "VISENYA!" Tavio called out to her, fearing the worst...

Right up until screeches and cries belonging to no man or woman rang out as the pyres collapsed...

In King's Landing, Lord Varys would receive a gift. One he would choose to share with the Small Council just after the betrayal of High Garden and Renly Baratheon naming himself King of the Reach and got himself assassinated by a shadow...as well as the execution of Ned Stark...

This gift coming in the form of crate waiting as Cersei, Tyrion, Petyr Baelish and King Joffrey entered the chamber...

"Queen Visenya Litha Targaryen of Dragonstone has sent a wedding gift for the King along with a letter," Varys announced before anyone could even have the chance to sit down.

"She's named herself Queen of that hollowed out tomb?" Cersei scoffed before Varys removed the lid of the crate and everything stopped. For inside it lay cracked, glittering egg shells atop a pile of ash, human bone and Lannister cloak broaches.
