A Fallen Snowdrop(Jimin-Centric)

Chapter 12

      Jimin walked up to the door, knocking angrily and stomping his foot as he waited for someone to answer the door. And after a while, the door creaked open to show a tall man, much taller than Namjoon staring down at him with wide eyes. He had short, wavy brown hair with grey hairs etched into it, and grey and brown stubble on his face while a small scar ran down the right side of his lip. He smelled of a strong alpha as well, but Jimin didn't show his intimidation and deeply glared at the man, who cleared his throat.
     "How may I help you today?" the man gruffly asked, looking Jimin up and down with a frown.
      "I believe you have my kids." Jimin snarled out, his scent coiling through the air like an angry snake. "And I want them back. Now."
     "Are you the mother of the two kids I picked up? Then come right in; I've been waiting for someone to show up. I was just telling them how it isn't good to bite kids." the man stepped out of the way, making eye contact with Namjoon. "Oh son there you are. Is this the new omega that you found?"
     "Yes sir. His name is Park Jimin." Namjoon replied, bowing his head. The others alphas followed suit, but the omega scoffed and harshly pushed past the man to get to his pups.                      "Minjun?? Minjae?! Are you in here?!?" It was quiet for a bit, and then tiny footsteps quickly pattered on the ground towards him, and then his twins ran up to him out of the door in front of the omega with tears in their young, innocent eyes. Jimin quickly kneeled down and held out his arms for his twins to jump into as they were openly sobbing, clutching onto the grey haired wolf.
"Oh my babies...." Jimin sighed out, scenting them heavily. His scent filled the hallway and the alphas outside stiffened at the smell of sticky peaches and creamy milk; the combined scents of Jimin and his pups.
      The grey haired omega quickly got up with a grunt, holding his pups in his arms. Jihye ran after her omega parent and saw her siblings safe and sound, and she quickly glanced back at the six alphas as they were talking to the head alpha. Jihye walked up to Jimin and grabbed his pants leg, staring at the alphas in front of her with wide, apprehensive eyes.
      "Why did you have Jimin's pups Father?" Namjoon asked.
      "Because I saw that they were attacking our pack's pups Namjoon. I couldn't just stand there and allow that to happen directly under my watch. I didn't do anything bad to them; I just told them not to do that anymore or they will no longer be able to live here." his father replied with a scoff, crossing his arms.
       "Those pups that we hit were bullying us." Jihye bit out, standing in front of the taller alpha with a scowl on her face. "So we were in the right, not them. You should be taking to them instead of us! We were protecting ourselves exactly how Mama taught us."
       "If this happens at this pack....I refuse to stay here and tolerate this kind of bullshit from this dump of a pack." Jimin growled out, walking out of the house and surprising the six alphas outside. "We'll be leaving tonight, so you won't have to worry about my pups 'attacking' anyone again. We can find a better pack to take care of us then this piece of shit. I refuse to stay here and allow you to single out my children for protecting themselves just because we aren't from your pack." Jimin glared at the man, whose eyebrows were risen up by his hairline. "We don't need this pack at all."
       "I had no clue that that happened to them...." the man sighed, and Jimin faltered in his anger. "If I had known that those kids were singling out your own, then I would have punished them instead. I can't take back what I did, but I sincerely apologize." Jimin rolled his eyes and shrugged.
       "Frankly I don't care about your apology, respectfully. All I care about is healing my ankle and leaving out of here as soon as I can. This is only a temporary stay for us, so I don't care about your insincere apology at all." Jimin finally took Jihye's hand and left, leaving the six alphas reeling in shock.

     "That was......" Namjoon's father gulped, looking at the omega walking away. "He's the new pack member....?"
     "Yes, and those are his pups that he was rightfully protecting." Namjoon replied, glaring at his father angrily.
     "Did he comes with an alpha or any kind of mate?"
     "Namjoon found him inside of a large hole in his wolf form with his pups; no one else
was there. He was untrusting of us at first, but he agreed to stay here until his ankle is healed and safe from danger. He wanted the protection for his pups so he thankfully agreed." Jungkook explained, not feeling too happy to be talking to the Head Alpha. "He ran away from something that he doesn't want to tell us about. So we're helping him until he feels comfortable moving forward, whether that's staying with us or not."
      "Will he stay permanently?" the Head Alpha asked, and they froze. "Because I heard him say that staying here is temporary. Do you six want him to stay?" the five alphas all gulped, forgetting that Jimin being here was temporary. "I would like to formally speak to him when I come back from my trip, so I should be going right now actually. I'll talk to you all when I get back. Goodbye son." and the middle aged alpha left, leaving Namjoon with his mates.

     "I forgot that Jimin wasn't staying here forever with us......" Jungkook muttered, crossing his arms and looking down at the ground. "Is he still leaving tonight though??? I wouldn't want him leaving with that ankle he has.....a-and the pups seem like they really like it here; minus the bullying."
     "I hope not.....his ankle still isn't healed and he still looks cautious about everything." Namjoon grunted out as a reply, staring at his shoes. "We just have to convince him to stay....he and his pups need the protection that we can give them. He's running from something. We just need to find out what it is."
     "I think I have a clue as to who Jimin was running from." Yoongi spoke up, getting everyone's attention. "I overheard something from Jimin when he was talking to some of the pack mates. It's important."
     "Let's hurry home and talk about this..." Seokjin pointed out, his eyes darting back and forth. "We don't know who might be listening on us and if this is as important as you say, then this is private information that don't want anyone to know about. Hopefully Hoseokie is back home so he can be a part of this conversation too." Jin's mates nodded and the five walked off, their thoughts on the omega and what he was running from.

     As soon as Jimin made it back inside of his temporary cabin, he set the twins down and kneeled down, clicking his tongue to attract their attention. "Are you three listening to me?" he asked, staring them down. His pups and Jimin got up, "Follow me to the couch. It's about time we have a conversation about what had went down today." Jihye and her younger siblings gulped and followed their omega mother to the couch. When they sat down, Jihye was the first to speak up, her voice trembling.
     "Are we in trouble Mama?" she asked, her scent tense. Jimin smiled and shook his head.
      "Of course not. Jun and Jae were protecting themselves and you were too. I just want to know what they were doing. None of you are in trouble."
      "We were walking away from the School since Teacher Dawon was dismissing us early today. Some older kids followed us out and started teasing us, calling us names and stuff. And then we were suddenly surrounded by them, and they started taunting us and throwing things at us. And that's when Jae and Jun attacked them. And when the twins attacked, I followed as well. But then the Head Alpha caught us, and I ran off to find you as soon as I could. But he caught the twins before I could tell them to run after me."
       "I'll talk to Alpha Namjoon and the others about what happened ok? You won't be in trouble; those shitty little pups will." but suddenly, there was a knock on the door. "Stay here and I'll be right back." Jimin stood up cautiously, stalking to the door. The grey haired omega put his ear to the door and listened for anything suspicious. "Who's there?" he shouted out, and was surprised by the reply.
       "It's the Head Alpha. I need to speak with you."
