Sasuke Uchiha is many things. He's cold, he can be cruel, and some might even go as far to call him a self centered bastard with a heart of stone. But that was just the image he built up for himself as the heir to the Uchiha corporation.

When it comes to Naruto Uzumaki, the love of his life, he's a completely different person. He's more patient, kinder, sweeter, and above all he's incredibly protective and possessive of his blonde. And he has every right to be!

It seems as if every time he turns his head for even one moment a low-life would appear to try and snatch his Dobe away!

Like that barista at their favourite coffee house. Naruto would just flash him one smile and the man would turn redder than a ripe tomato

Some of Naruto's colleagues at the school fancy his blonde as well, a few times he catches them ogling Naruto's ass.

He can easily scare anyone away with just one glare though. And Naruto, his Naruto is very content with being with him and only him, his blonde wouldn't spare anyone else a second glance.

Though there may still be some hopefuls vying for Naruto's attention, their chances with gaining the Blondie's affections are zero. He's Sasuke's and Sasuke's only.

Sasuke watched from the window his Dobe talking with the delivery boy. He wasn't the familiar old man who was always the one to deliver their mail, parcels and sometimes even groceries to them. This time it was a young man with hazel colored hair.

He checked his watch, Naruto had been outside for twenty minutes now.

He crossed his arms and growled under his breath. The brunet had made Naruto laugh

Eventually, Naruto finally came inside, still smiling from whatever it was he talked with the delivery man. "What took you so long?" Sasuke demanded taking the boxes from Naruto and placing it in the kitchen.

"Huh?" Naruto blinked at him. "I was only outside for like, ten minutes"

The petty side of Sasuke wanted to correct Naruto and say that he's been outside for twenty, but he decided to just let it go. No use ruining his mood so early in the morning.

They ate like usual, Sasuke listening to Naruto talking about his students and the workload, but today he started talking about that guy he met.

"His name is Torinosuke, he's twenty five and has just moved to the neighborhood. Apparently the old delivery man who used to have Torinosuke's job is his grandfather, and that his grandfather is too weak to work now" Naruto narrated. "Torinosuke moved to the neighborhood to take care of his grandfather, isn't that nice of him?"

"Hn" Sasuke grunted.

Naruto pouted at him. "Hey, are you even listening?"

"Yeah" Sasuke said in disinterest. Naruto pouted again before he resumed talking.

Days passed, and Naruto and Torinosuke striked up a particularly close friendship. Everyday at 8 Naruto would go outside to receive their morning deliveries and he and Torinosuke would have a long chat that, for Sasuke, took all morning. Sasuke ignored this for as long as he could, until one day Naruto came back inside holding a vase of sunflowers.

"Where did you get those?" Sasuke questioned.

"Huh? Torinosuke gave them to me. He said it would compliment the house" Naruto responded with a smile. "He also said he felt like I was a sunflower-type-of-guy too, hehe" he chuckled. Sasuke glared at him when he noticed the patches of pink on Naruto's cheeks.
