And go on a date they did, which led to many more happy ones this past month. Akshara kept the drained tea cup on the table and looked out the balcony.
There he was! Her love, her heart.
How did she think she could be without him, what a fool she was!
Her smile grew by the second as she ran down, she readily jumped into his waiting arms hugging him close, her face smothered in his chest.
Abhi gently arranged Akshu's hair as he looked down at her holding her by the waist. He still couldn't believe he deserved this after everything.

"Did you take the tablets, My Methi dana?" he asked smirking internally at her reaction.
"Haan Baba! I did. Now, tell me what the plan that was decided?" she asked barely refraining from jumping up and down from excitement.
He counted it in his fingers as he said, "1.My medical conference will be over tomorrow. 2.Aaru will get a intern leave of at least two weeks staring from next week."
"And? And?"
He laughed at her this time not able to contain himself anymore, "You know, I don't think you are this excited about us than you do of them."
Akshu laughed hearing his laugh and cheekily showed her tongue at him, "Now, come on. I know you are excited too."
"Okay, okay. Then from tomorrow Neil and I will convince everyone for the tilak and engagement ceremony at my house, when you guys come for the two weeks. That's all,, right?"
"I think so, do you think there will any problem?" Akshu's worry seeping into her voice a little.
"I don't think there will be. Just make sure to mention the name properly when coming to our house with rishta. And, if there is. We are definitely ignoring them. Now give me a smile."
Oh she just needs to see his face for a smile to emerge from her face. "Abhi take care, okay. And please be careful on your journey back to Udaipur."
"OH, please I am becoming an expert in travelling from Udaipur to Mumbai and Mumbai to Udaipur this past month."
"Ok, okay you super traveller, you will be late for your conference. And I know you didn't eat your lunch, so here I packed some for you. Eat it soon, Okay?"
"Meri Pyaari girlfriend, did you make your sister spy on me again?"
"No, my Devar spied on you again."
Getting on his bike he said, "Things like this makes me wonder, if I should help them get marry before us. Then together, they will be even more of a terror."
"Stop it! Ussain Bolt, we talked about this. First their marriage, then ours. And you know for ours.."
Taking her hands to kiss it in farewell, Abhi rolling his eyes said, "After their marriage, we will have a five month engagement, then marriage. I know!"
Already familiar with his pouting, Akshu said yelling a little as he sped away in the Mumbai street, "I saw you rolling your eyes" with a smile on her face.
And this smile was not twinged with sadness at all. She really was happy with her life.
