A Suprise For Loki

The church bell rang in the distance. The Asgardian wedding theme began to play. Loki stood at the bottom of the steps to the throne a smile appered on his face, Thor had his hand on Loki's sholder and nodded. Sigyn walked up the isle with her dad, her hair in a plait down her back. Loki turned and saw the light hit the green on her dress. Loki put his hand out ready for her father to place her hand in his. George put Sigyn's hand in Loki's palm.

"You take good care of her, because she is my only daughter and I want her to be safe. Do you promise this?"

"I promise this you, I won't let her get hurt. If she is though I will find the person who did it and I will make them pay for what they did." George nodded and handed Sigyn over to Loki, then went to sit down next to his wife. The ceremony begun. They said their vows and then Thor brought out the rings Odin had specially made for them. The rings were solid gold with emeralds embedded in patterns, Loki had a snake with green eyes and Sigyn had ivy with green in the middle of the each leaf. They slipped the rings on each others fingers and kissed, for the first time in a while, to confirm the marriage.

At the party

Loki and Sigyn were slow dancing. Sigyn had her head resting on Loki's chest as he held her around her waist.

"Loki, can we go for a walk?"

"Yeah sure lets go." They walked out of the room and down the long corridors of the palace. They held hands as they walked into the large garden of the palace, it was almost like a forest really.

"Loki, I love you."

"I love you too. What was it that you wanted to tell me?" She dragged him further down the garden.

"Loki..." he looked at her his eyes wide. "I need your help, with something very important." His face looked very confused and solem. "I think I might be with child."

"Are you sure?" She nodded. "Oh my..." Loki leaned against a tree for support.

"Loki plese don't panic, it is not something to worry about right at this very moment. It is our wedding day, get up please. Loki!" Images were going through Loki's head him panicking at the birth, holding his baby, protecting his baby from everything bad, then it got worse as he saw himself trying to protect Sigyn from an evil force but her dying, the force turning on his child and making Loki watch as it killed them, Loki being saved by Thor but ending his life when he couldn't cope with losing the two most important people in his life. He was shaken back to reality by Thor who was also trying to comfort Sigyn who was crying behind him.

"What happened?" Thor asked him.

"I don't know, I think I just played out my future life in my head." Thor helped him up and patted him on the back.

"Loki go and console Sigyn, she needs you right now, she told me what happened." He walked over to her.

"Sigyn, its okay. I'm fine, don't worry. It won't happen again. Now lets go to the banquet."

"Hold on, look." She twirled and the dress changed.

"How did you..."

"Ssshh, magic." She kissed him and walked hand in hand with him back to the banquet.
