Loki sat next to his father's bed for a week, night and day, never sleeping or leaving his side. Sigyn came in occasionally to check he had eaten and drank the meals that she brought.

"Loki?" He didn't look at her  his eyes were red and unforgiving to anyone, no matter what. "Loki, you must rest, you're tired and stressed about what happened to your father. Please come to bed."

"You think... that I will leave his side... for rest?" He began in a whisper.

"Lo-" He cut her off and began to speak louder.

"No! Listen to me! I will not leave his side for a mewling quim like you! I have better things to do than be on Midgard at this time! I must stay with my family in this time of need! THEY NEED ME!" He lunged towards her ready to strike as Thor came from behind and held him back.

"But we are your family, we are too..." Sigyn let the tears fall silently down her cheeks and she walked out quickly. She went back to Midgard with Stala. It was too late when Loki realised what he had done. He looked off into space and collapsed to his knees and began to cry. Thor helped him up and took him to the room he used to be in before he left. He drifted into sleep.

The next morning

Loki woke up alone in bed, panicking he asked Thor.

"Thor! Where is my wife and daughter?!"

"Don't you remember, Brother you sent them away."

"No... no... Why? Why didn't you stop me?"

"Loki I-"

"Forget it I'm going back to Midgard so I can patch things up with my family. Wish father well beings."

"Loki. Father is no longer here." Loki looked into Thor's eyes and stared into his eyes looking for the hint of a lie. He couldn't see anything,  he grabbed his septar and walked down Bifrost.

"Then wish mother good beings and that she recovers well. Come visit, and I must be at the funeral." He reached the end of Bifrost and dissapeared to Midgard.
