Loki's Passion

The New Family Member

"Welcome home Tom!" The baby was awake and gurgling as Loki spoke. He carried Tom into the new bedroom for the baby. Placing him in the cot he looked over and stared at the blue eyes. "How have you got blue eyes? My eyes are green and your mother's are yellow. How?"

"What's that honey?" Sigyn came up behind him.

"Nothing." Loki sighed and walked out, leaving Sigyn to look at her little boy. Loki went for a walk to the centre of town. He entered a shop, a pet shop. "Hello?"

"Ahh a customer! What would you like?"

"Have you got any cats?" The pet shop owner looked on his list.

"Yes we do! I'll go get him." The owner went into the back and came back with a little black kitten. "Here you go." He handed the kitten to Loki, he accepted it.

"I'll take him, and some supplies for the cat. Please." Looking at the black cat closely, it had green eyes with yellow flecks in them. "You are perfect." He took the supplies from the owner and paid him. Then walked home with his new freind. He walked through the house hiding the kitten.

"Loki, what are you doing?"

"Nothing." Sigyn appeared in the doorway. "Fine, I bought this." He held the kitten at arms length. Sigyn laughed.

"Loki, this cat is you! I mean its basically the animal version of you." Loki pouted. He walked into the bedroom to set up some of the cat stuff. Placing the kitten in the bed, he stared at it quizically as it cleaned itself.

"What can I call you?"

"Ahhhhh daddy's got a kitteh!" Stala ran towards it. "What's the kittehs name daddy?"

"You want to name her?"

"Oh meh gawsh! Yeah! Erm... erm... what about... Holly!" Loki picked her up.

"Why not." He picked up the kitten too. "Welcome to our home Holly." He placed the kitten in the bed and walked out carrying Stala. Stala saw the kitten walk out with them.

"No! Kitteh stay there!" Loki turned around and saw the kitten behind him.

"Let him do what he wants Stala, he's exploring." Loki sat on the couch and put something on for Stala to watch. The kitten clawed its way into Loki's lap. "Hello Holly." The kitten fell asleep on Loki's lap.

"I think our kitten has found a better place to sleep." Sigyn said as she sat on the couch next to Loki, carrying a cup-a-soup.

"Yeah, I love this kitten." Loki fell asleep with the kitten, and nobody stopped him.
