Second P.O.V

You woke up in your soft covers with a large yawn. You pat the other side of the bed to feel your husband there but he wasn't.
You quickly shot up, your paranoia getting the best of you.
After scrambling out of the sheets you ran to the living room, waiting to see him there but yet again, he wasn't.

You were about to ran for your phone but then you spotted a plate on the table with f/f on it next to a sheet of paper.
You walked over to it and examined the paper which had Eijiro's writing on it.
'had to go to work early, sorry! dont forget your pills ;P Love you!!'

Your heart flutter upon reading that writing. Everything he did was so heart-warming you sometimes doubted you deserved him.
You chuckled as you grabbed the pills he prepared together with your meal. You quickly swallowed them with the help of a little water — they still tasted fucking awful.
You then eagerly dug into your reward. It tasted as good as ever. Eijiro is an amazing cook!

After you sadly finished your food, you went to put Buddy's own food into his bowl. He was still sleeping on the couch in the living room. It was adorable.
You pat his belly as you threw your outside clothes on "I'm heading out to work, you be good here" you chuckled, as if he could understand you.

You then left the house and locked it.
You got into your car which was your dream car — Eijiro's job made it possible to buy it — and started the engine. It was only ten minutes by car to your work.
The scenery was always nice during normal autumn days like these. The colorful trees, the cloudy sky, nice atmosphere and all that.
Plus, you always couldn't wait to get home. Back to your husband and doggo. What else could you want?

As you finally got to your workplace, you headed inside and greeted everyone working there, including your boss.
"Hey, Yamomo" you waved at her.
She sent you a sweet smile "Glad to see you again, Y/n. How was your weekend?" She asked as she wiped one table. You all always made sure to have everything in top notch quality before opening.
You sent her a smile back "it was pretty nice, thanks for asking" you replied as you went behind the bar to get your apron on and get started off with the day. You were always quite prideful of your job as the head barista.

As you tied the apron behind your back, the bell at the door rang; signaling that someone came in even though it's this early. You turned around and put on you characteristic smile.
"Hello, welcome to Nogareru cafe! What may I get you today" you asked the first costumer; a male wearing baggy clothes, black hair and eyes and was overall shady but whatever. Who are you to question people? Plus, you've seen worse.
I mean, it's one of an occurrence that a whole ass fucking nomu looking person walks into the shop and orders a vanilla frappe — which you don't have — extra creamy, sweet and with whipped cream and rainbow sprinkles on top.

Anyway, the costumer seemed to gasp a little before saying his order in a tired and raspy voice which seemed like it hasn't been used for a while: "just one black coffee."
You put that into the system "anything else? We have our signature strawberry shortcakes on sale with twenty procent off, it's worth trying!" You said as you basically sparkled. You loved working and always tired your best to seem as friendly as possible, even when pushing people to spend more money.

They thought for a little until they replied with a simple "sure." You'd usually get rejected with that offer or the costumer would get agressive, so you were glad this time it got accepted. Means more money for you!
You put that also in the system and read out the total for the costumer. They payed the exact amount with a little tip.
"The tip's for you" they said sending a little smile before leaving to sit at one of the tables in the cafe. You thanked them and started to take the order of the person behind him.

Like, how long has it been since you got a personal tip even though you've been super nice? It's been months!! You just wanted to hug the person just for this little gesture of kindness.

As the next costumer finished telling you their order, there was no one behind them, so you just decided to make the first guy's order yourself. You told your coworker to make the second order. They happily obliged.
So, there you were, making black coffee — which you didn't like much but who cares — and pulling the shortcake out of the display refrigerator.

When it was done, you took both of the things and made your way towards the shady male.
You placed the order down and smiled "if you need anything else, don't be afraid to ask" you then turned around and left the man alone.

You felt a very nice feeling in the pit of your stomach. You were proud of yourself and felt confident today! Oh how you couldn't wait to go home and just hug your husband tight!

You returned back behind the bar with a wide smile. You hoped today wouldn't got to shit suddenly because some days tend to turn out that way.
You shook off the depressing thoughts and got back to work.
But... You couldn't help but to feel someone staring daggers into you. Probably you coworker since you accidentally stepped on their foot a few seconds ago. Oops!

~

You sighed as you got into your car. Work might be nice and all but it for sure is also tiring when you get held back by a random costumer who comes in just before closing. Today came in yet again a 'not like other girls' woman who began to tell you how patriarchy is ruining the world and how stereotypical girls should stop being slutty and all that. The verdict was apperently that she wants black coffee with no milk, sugar or anything. You just hated those people with all your might.

As you drove home, it was already dark and the streets where nicely lit up with various lights and signs.
You loved rides home during evenings. It was so peaceful and nice to look at.

As you finally pulled into your driveway you quickly scrambled out of the car to get inside your house as soon a possible.
You locked your car and went inside of the house after unlocking the front door.

Eijiro already sat there on the sofa watching a random show when you got in. His head turned your way and a grin made its way on his face. He got up and started walking towards you with his arms open.
"Hey sweetheart! How was work" he said as you ran into his arms, hugging him as if you haven't seen him in years. This was normal for you.

"It was okay. But I'm glad to be home" you said, muffled because you had your head stuffed in his manly chest.
He giggled "okay angel. Are you hungry? Do you want to make dinner together?" He asked. At that moment, sparkles formed in your eyes. You just adored cooking together!! It was always fun, even the cleaning up — which says something.

"Of course, let's go!" You jumped a little and took his hand while dragging him to the kitchen.
