Ferns P.O.V was helped by my friend writing Big City. Please read her first 5 chapters to understand mine. Thank You.

Me and Fern spoke of many things as we walked down the stairways towards the looming airport as beyond. For once the gleaming sun shine on my back instead of raindrops drenching me head to toe. But she was more interested on the reunion of our two dogs. Rogers who is mine and Cranberry who is Ferns. Both an unlikely pair but friendship still bloomed between them. Right now we both presumed Rogers had gone in the storage, I found it dreadful that they kept the poor animals there, and Cranberry awaited our arrival at Ferns apartment in the middle of... You'll never guess what... NEW YORK! I mean come on I thought it would just be in Seattle or Texas you know a rural place but New York gosh that was new to me. I jumped up when she told me and whizzed of to show my passport and find a taxis. Suddenly I remembered to get Rogers so I ran back to the pickup. "That trainings come in handy Clem." I tilted my head back laughing as Fern walked behind me holding just a handbag whereas I had a ginormous suitcase and a dog cage to come. "I guess it has. I need to carry on training while I'm hear due to the Olympics next year and all." I replied re,entering what my coach had said No Mia don't stop training just coz you have a really good chance of getting to Rio doesn't mean you need to lose your fitness so while you are in America go to the gym and they will give you a free pass. I asked about the free pass but he just waved his hand for me to leave and go home. "Woah so you are actually going to be in Rio. Right, free passes for me and make sure Cranberry can get in Deal!!" She demanded so I agreed to her 'contract' and went back off to daydreaming. A sudden bark rough me back to the future; the bark had to belong to Rogers for he scrambled up to me and smothered me in kisses. "Down boy." I bellowed before smiling at him, it was a long journey for both of us so I let him into his cage and pulled it along, he was definitely to big to carry and to hyper to walk. Barely struggling I pulled the cage to the Pick Up area near were we exited the plane. "So Miss America where to a-" I stumbled on my words as I looked out to towering buildings and the real YELLOW taxis!!! I looked back to Fern my eyes as huge as a soccer as Americans say. "Just jump into one and say where you wanna go. There's one quick jump in!!"

She pushed me into the nearest taxis and I thumped onto the leather seat. "Where to ladies?" A broad American shadow inquired from the front seat and he caused a chill up my spine. "Just go down there mate YEP just there. Then turn left to the block of apartments thanks." Fern chatted to him telling him all the sits she'd seen and trying to get a discount of the trip. I however was making sure Roger was all prepared and healthy, full of dog treats and water, for when we arrived at Fern's apartment. His blue eyes gleamed up at me with excitement bursting to see his friend. "I know your excited boy but remember you are a stronger breed than her so..." I trailed off as I saw the block of apartments that Fern lived in.

Intimidating yet graceful I thought as I thanked the driver and pulled the luggage with me onto the pavement. A yip of a bark met us as we traveled up the elevator and along a birch planked hallway. "I cannot believe they let you have dogs up here!" I blurted or as I saw many other breeds of dog whizz around the lobby and up the stairs. "I made sure that Cranberry wouldn't be lonely and for the time Roger came with you. I have to admit you took longer at coming than I thought." We giggled as she said this, opened the door and BOOM a black cocker spaniel burst onto me and Rogers and wagged her tail frantically. "Pffft....ok nice to see you...yes." I brushed my hands along her head and body stroking her fluffy coat. Rogers entrance was a lot less soft he bashed into her and the play-fights and energy he was holding back came into this. "They missed each other." I spoke through the fur of them both.
"I missed you too" Fern replied...
