"I love you, taylor. I've loved you since you taught me how to play guitar chords for the first time. Ever since you bit me at school break to prove you were right both verbally and physically. From when we swayed with your braids falling apart in the wind... from our adventures in the forests. I love you taylor. I will always love you, you are my happy ending, the reason I wake up every day with the desire to face the challenges that lie ahead"
he held his wallet, where was located a small picture of a certain blonde with blue eyes, reminiscent of the sea, on a sunny day where children laughed, a pretty women sang, fish swam in sync and the waves calmly amused the bathers. But for the moment, the eyes of the same girl, now grown up and holding a glass of champagne gracefully in front of him, resembled more of a storm. A sea on a rainy day, the worst one if i must say. Where boats sank as well as her will to continue standing there, fearing what was to come. And she knew very well what it was: and she also knew that someone was going to get hurt today.
"Would you do me the honor of being the happiest man in the world by accepting to marry me?" He said, getting on his knees and opening a small black box with an insanely pricey piece of jewelry.

The cup was now on the floor, shattered, as was her heart for doing this to her best friend, in front of his entire family.
Silence was all that could be heard for the next 5 minutes, until the tall blonde, whose dress was blood red, decided to speak up (or try, at least).
"I-hm-sorry, Joe. Really. But don't you think we're too young for that? I mean- I'm turning 22 next week and... it's okay that we've been dating since we were 16, but- hm- sorry. I'm not ready for that. You are my best friend, you really are. And I'll always love you, if that counts on anything. But I cannot marry you I- I gotta go"
She let go of his hand and ran, leaving him on his feet speechless, hopeless, standing there with a feeling that love slipped beyond his reaches.
Well, you're probably wondering how I got myself into this situation (or maybe not, but I'll tell you anyway). And, I have to admit, that was just the tip of the hurricane. "Oh, but you literally turned down a marriage proposal. This is usually the end of the story, not the beginning." Yeah, I'm aware of that. But my life has always been a mess, so it's not surprising that the path to find my golden love started with... my best friend's family hating me because I don't want to marry him.
Don't get me wrong, I loved him. I still do, as friends. And, to be quite honest, my plan was to break up with him that very day, so it came as a shock when I realized what he was about to do.
For starters, my name is Taylor Alison Swift. I like to sing, i guess? Not the point, let's get to the story.
Joe has been my best friend for as long as I can remember. Our mothers were friends, and we were the same age, so you know what happened right. We grew up with our parents joking that one day we would date, fall in love, get married and have grandchildren. I mean, he was cute, but thinking about that stuff at seven years old is, in a nutshell, disgusting.
I didn't see him as a possible future boyfriend, and in fact I didn't think of any boy as a possible boyfriend. "Oh, so you're a lesbian" no, I was only seven!! But yeah, maybe, who knows, we haven't gotten to that part yet.
The only thing I do know is that time passed, and when I blinked we were at the school door for our first day of high school.
"You ready?" He asked, looking deep into my eyes.
"Not really, but do I really have a choice?"
he smirked. "Nop. But hey, at least you'll get to see blake again."
