Now, there's a reason why you don't go shopping on Christmas eve, a very reasonable one: the streets are busy, filled with cars, mothers chasing their little kids, kids chasing their pets, it's cold and just- not a good time to shop.
And even worse when you go shopping with a fucking rebellious lesbian that came from an traditional family. I like to say that if you like something, you should let it free. Unless it's either Karlie Kloss or a lion, then keep it locked.
I just don't like her. Do I have reasons?? Yes. Good reasons?? Yes. How many reasons do I need? None, I don't like her. It's simple.
"Ok we have to nail this, it's like boys vs girls, testosterone vs estrogen, standing up to pee vs squatting. We need to win, and we're gonna do it by bringing home the best Christmas tree ever"
"Taylor" she presser her hands at my shoulders and shook me a little, serious. "Listen to me, It's not a competition. We're just buying a Christmas tree."
"So we will buy the Christmas tree, and then I will scrub this car like a crime scene...which it is, because you have murdered joy" i was parking the vehicle, smirking at her as she rolled her eyes.
"Sure, pinkie pie"
"What now?"
"Nothing." She looked at me while unbuckling her seatbelt. "I hate you, you know right?"
"Sorry i cant hear you over the sound of how awesome i am" i was getting out of the car, giving her a fake smile. "So, here's the thing. No kicking, no licking, no biting, no rabbit punches. Act like a normal human being for one day so we can get a good tree, understood?"
"Whatever"
Another reason why you don't go shopping on Christmas eve: the good trees are all sold out. Finding a good tree was hell. It was like finding a diamond earring on the ocean (see what i did here? See, Kim? Are you reading? Yes.)
After walking for hours, draining my social battery, crying to get a discount and listening to karlie yell at me for absolutely everything (I mean, that's how you know that your friends loves you, right? When they feel free to scream at you), we were back in the car with an average tree strung over the roof and fancy Christmas decorations in the back of the car.
arriving home, there were tons presents piled up in the corner of the room, and some food was already being stocked at the refrigerator. Austin and Ryan had already returned, but their task was ten times easier, so I have it for myself that we won.
yes, it was a competition for me. Look, if you're boring just say that.
We spent a few hours setting up the decor, hanging lights and sprucing up the tree, then everyone retired to get ready. It was Christmas Eve, after all. I wouldn't eat turkey in kitty pajamas!
"You know what we should do?" Said harry after a while. Everyone was already there: Blake, Ryan, Me, Karlie, Dianna, Tom, Harry, Mom and Austin.
"No" i nodded, sitting on the couch at his side.
"We should record a video singing the song we wrote together! But like, pretending it's a show? And then the rest can pretend they're our dancers..."
"Yeah, we're not doing that" i cut him, smiling sarcastically.
we actually did after screaming, fighting, getting wasted and loosing control over our actions. But we'll get there.
I held a glass of champagne while Karlie bothered me, and tom tried to convince her that i was actually a pretty nice person
