"there's something i want to ask," jungkook suddenly stated getting taehyung's attention who nervously nodded, encouraging him to speak.

"why you never clarified anything? and let them say whatever they wanted? and–" jungkook's voice wavered as he muttered the last words, "why you never told me?"

taehyung looked away as he closed his eyes, gathering his thoughts before replying. he heaved a deep breath as he opened his lips to speak,

"i-i didn't want you to know that.... yeonjun was involved, in anyway or he was the reason why i went to that man's house. also... dad would j-just kill him if he ever gets to know that."

jungkook knitted his brows, "i still can't believe he did that. just  let your brother know that he's not welcomed here anymore."

taehyung shook his head, reaching forward to cup jungkook's jaw.

"no jungkookie, please don't do that. he apologized already –"

"would it change anything though? his foolishness destroyed your life. and that bastard– " the young businessman's expressions darkened as he thought about the man who hurt his love.

"i swear i'm going to kill him." the brunet shut his mouth tight hearing the other's threatening voice. he wasn't going to stop jungkook from doing that, he really wished jungkook would just kill that man.

"and.... i'm serious about your brother, i don't think i can stand him near you or myself anymore" the ravenette stated angrily.

"jungkookie, he's just a kid.... i know you're angry at him. trust me, i'm too. whenever i remember he's the reason for all this, it makes me loathe him but then... " he let out a sigh before continuing his statement.

"i can't hurt him back. he's my family, and he made a mistake. the moment dad and mom comes to know this, i just can't imagine what will happen. and i don't even know if dad can deal with this news."

the brunet looked at the other who looked conflicted now, the ravenette was not sure if he should just stay quiet or cause a ruckus, he let out a shaky breath as if accepting defeat against taehyung.

"i don't know if i can tolerate his presence around you so don't expect too much from me." he said after a moment of silence.

"please.... just forgive him for me" taehyung whispered.

"i wish i could" jungkook said looking away.

and taehyung shut his mouth not saying another word.

"you should eat more fruits." jungkook's voice was heard.

the couple was now sitting in the living room. the servants were surprised seeing them sitting together for the first time since their wedding.

they never saw them spend time together or even sit together other than at the breakfast or dinner table, so it was definitely new for them to see the dark haired male taking off from work and just sitting with his pregnant husband and watching the rain.

they watched how jungkook was feeding the other healthy fruits while he whined for a hamburger.

"jungkook please, let me order it."

"no, all you have been eating is unhealthy for the past few days tae. you literally cried because of your stomachache." the dark haired male replied pushing another strawberry into his husband's mouth.

taehyung sighed. he knew it was nearly impossible to win against jungkook in an argument. he just know very well how to use someone's words against them.
