jungkook exited the bathroom. the ravenette has changed into his sleepwear. it was around three at night when he came home. taehyung was sleeping peacefully on the bed. soft snores leaving his pouty lips.

jungkook sat at the edge of the bed as he stared at the boy. two years had passed since they first met, a lot has changed since then including their relationship.

he sighed lying down at the bed covering himself with the duvet and adjusting it on taehyung too.

whatever happened in those years surely hurt him a lot, but he can't hate him.... no matter how many times he tried to. he turned around and closed his eyes drifting off to sleep.

"i'm glad you all came. it's been months since i last saw our tae bear." jeon sook spoke looking at his friend and his family.

"thank you so much for inviting us jeon sook." mr kim replied. both jeons and kims were having dinner together. yeonjun glanced at his brother who seemed to be lost in thoughts.

"hyung are you wondering where's a certain someone." taehyung glared at his brother who smirked.

"i swear to god yeonie i'm gonna--"

"my apologies i'm late." taehyung stilled hearing a familiar voice. he looked at the male greeting his parents. he was in casual clothes but still managed to look so...

"gosh this is so hot." yeonjun muttered placing a chicken piece in his mouth. he knew what he was doing when his brother kicked his leg under the table.

"hello jungkookie hyung." yeonjun suddenly blurted, as the raven haired male took a seat in front of taehyung. jungkook smiled at the younger. he then gazed at taehyung who hadn't looked up at all.

"how are you taehyung?" jungkook questioned as taehyung fidgeted with his fingers. "g-good." taehyung didn't know why he felt so nervous.

"that's a relief." he glanced at jungkook ho gave a charming smile before looking at his father who asked him something business related.

after the dinner taehyung was standing in one of  the balconies of the jeon mansion when he felt someone speak.

"you're scared of the dark yet standing here all alone." the ravenette padded towards the other who had turned around. both looked in each others' eyes as taehyung spoke.

"i'm not alone now." jungkook couldn't help but smile. "aren't you gonna make sure i'm  dead or not?" the raven haired male spoke motioning taehyung to check his heart beat. taehyung raised his brow crossing his arms.

"are you trying to flirt with me jeon jungkook?" jungkook gave a cheeky grin, "well i'm trying."  taehyung bit his lips trying not to smile.

"then try harder." with that he placed his hand on the others' chest pushing him away lightly  and walking away.

taehyung fanned his red cheeks as he climbed down the stairs. jungkook being so close to him made his heart beat faster.

"hyung, did you..." he halted hearing his little brother's voice who was standing at the last stair, "did you two do something nasty?" he whispered making taehyung widen his eyes.

he pinched his brother. "oh my God have some shame." taehyung rebuked but yeonjun didn't care as he continued asking him weird questions which taehyung just ignored.
