he didn't start working at jungkook's company immediately rather he was here after almost eight months. hyunwoo was now a year old and taehyung finally had the heart to leave him with a nanny. taehyung was nervous, his heart beating fast as he trotted through the marble-floored hallways. jungkook wanted him to come along but he refused. he didn't want to go to the office along with the ceo, he just wanted no special treatment which he knew was quite impossible. but still not on the first day at least. he was glad jungkook at least sent someone to help him find his way.

he reached the shared office where the art department was located. just as he stepped in everyone's eyes were on him. might be because, even with absolutely no work experience he got assigned as the head of the department or maybe they're looking because everyone knew who he was. he kept his composure as his eyes darted towards the employees. they all were looking at him with quite curious gazes.

the man next to taehyung, who had introduced himself as jungkook's secretary spoke up finally. he introduced the brunet to everyone and asked them to give him a warm welcome which taehyung was grateful for. the rest of the day passed quickly and taehyung tried his best to get himself familiarised with as many things as possible. he only stumbled into jungkook when he was getting off from work. the businessman's lips immediately curled up into a big smile as he approached him.

"how was your day baby?" he questioned, leaning closer to peck his lips. the brunet displayed his boxy smile, starting his rants, as they both walked towards the car. taehyung won't lie, he was excited to go home. he was missing his baby. he felt strange as he kept thinking about the baby even when he was working. he looked at the raven-haired male who was busy reading something on his ipad.

"you're a workaholic," he blurted out getting jungkook's attention.

"is that a bad thing?" the man questioned , looking at the brunet with a fond smile as he watched the other nod furiously.

"yes, especially when you're sitting next to your partner whom you're seeing after so many hours. but look at you still indulged in your work" he rolled his eyes as he watched jungkook's smile getting bigger.

"oh i was trying to distract myself," he muttered shifting closer. taehyung looked confused as he asked, "distracting? why?"

"because i feel like jumping on you right now and devouring you—" taehyung slapped his hand on the other's mouth as he looked at the front, watching how the driver was looking embarrassed too. his cheeks covered with a rosy hue hearing the unexpected words.

"shut up jungkookie! i swear i'm gonna jump out the car if you're going to say these kind of things." he knew the ravenette was messing with him but it was still awkward to be talking to each other like that in front of their workers. he ignored the man the rest of the ride only glaring at him when he tried to tease him again.

when they finally reached their house, taehyung didn't wait any longer as he excitedly walked towards the main door. just as the maid opened it his eyes fell on hyunwoo whose face lit up seeing him. his hands immediately reaching for the baby. the moment he heard his baby's happy squeals and giggles he knew he made the best decision to keep it and now moving on felt like a blessing.

he spent the rest of the day playing with the baby. hyunwoo still hadn't taken his first steps but now he was a total troublemaker. aggressively crawling here and there, chewing everything he could, and breaking his toys. but it was getting so much fun to play with him, he really enjoyed it. it was only after the baby slept that he got the chance to have some time with his husband. and of course, he was completely all over the brunet. jungkook was no longer keeping his distance or being too careful and taehyung wasn't complaining. but he still felt a little flustered whenever they got too close. his breath hitched feeling the other planting kisses along
his neck. his hands reaching up to tangle his fingers in the silky black locks as the other continued to place kisses. jungkook seemed extra worked up for some reason, his cold hands roaming all over the brunet's body.
