Chapter 16 ~ Replaced

Shade p.o.v

I sat in the back room, I didn't want to see anyone after what those...those bastards had done to me... The stupid human who thought I should have an upgrade failed.. So they replaced me completely..

An upgrade... What? Make me have a figure like toy chica, pfft... I looked good before. Now my figure was just too... Well... You can figure that one out..

I sighed, I hated the one I was replaced by. And speak of the devil, in walked shadow. I pretended to have deactivated myself. My arm rested against the rough part of the wall where I had carved words into the concrete and tile. I felt shadow's eyes on me as I lay slumped in an almost deaf looking position in the corner. I heard her footsteps approach me but I didn't move. "Poor shade, too bad they messed up the upgrade you didn't even want." She said mockingly. Okay, one more word and this girl would get completely mangled..

Shadow p.o.v

I was her replacement, honestly I was quite honoured. Shade had a high place in this attraction and I took that place.. Though I didn't think the people here liked me at all.. They just asked where shade was, shade this shade that. I kicked her body in frustration and she twitched and her eyes lit up into life and she looked up at me. Okay. I didn't think the deactivated ones could do that, they shouldn't be able to do that.

Shade stood up and looked at me. I didn't see how her upgrade failed, sure they made her a little..uh...curvy but who cared? (Not fat, she's thin) "How exactly did your upgrade fail?" I asked, I couldn't help myself. "Its not appearance, dumbass.." She hissed, her voice glitches slightly. "Voice?" I asked "No, idiot.. Maybe the freakin stink of blood they found when they wanted to upgrade my voicebox.." She said quietly. My eyes widened slightly "Wait, you still had blood in your suit, how did you die?" I asked.

Shade froze and stared coldly at me "Get out." She hissed and pointed at the open door. I wordlessly walked out, afraid of what she would do if I didn't. I walked into Springtrap by accident. "Oh..sorry.." I said quickly "Have you seen shade?" He asked, I hadn't heard that question from him yet. I pointed to the back room. He thanked me and walked in.

Shade p.o.v

I sat down in my slumped, dead position again and closed my eyes. I thought about my past life and my family and felt black oily tears run down my face, since I was in my animatronic form. I heard heavy metal footsteps enter the room and stop. I felt someone watching me and felt slightly creeped out since now, I didn't know who was watching me.

I heard them cross the room and they stood over me. "Shade.." I heard spring whisper, I decided not to reply then I felt his hands on my shoulders "Shade for fuck sake wake up.." He trailed off and I heard Goldie gasp and run over. "What happened?" He asked "I don't know, but shadow came out of this room and I came in and shade was...like this.." He had it all wrong, shadow was in for it if Goldie got the wrong idea.

"Shade.." Goldie whispered, I felt something drip onto my chest... Tears...

Spring trap shook me more violently and my head forcefully hit the wall, my eyes shot open at the sudden impact "Jesus spring.. What just hit my head.." I asked, pretending to be clueless to the current events. "What happened to you?" He asked "Those..those idiots tried to upgrade me.. They only got so far before they smelt the blood.." I hissed "it messed up my circuits real bad. So I got replaced, they didn't bother fixing me, they were afraid spring.." I decided to tell then everything since... Well why not..

Goldie hugged me and I hugged him back "I'll leave you alone.." Said spring and walked out.

Spring p.o.v

I walked out and saw shadow sat on the office chair, I stormed in and she looked up and smiles. "Hey." She said and giggled slightly. The mere sight of her made me feel sick in disgust and I didn't even know why... "Don't hey me, who the hell do you think you are.. Just walking in here thinking you can replace shade?" I asked, very angry that she would even consider such an idea. "You know if shade's circuits weren't fried now, she would rip you apart" I half yelled. "I know, which is why I burnt her circuits, she wont be going anywhere for quite a while.." Shadow smirked and I growled.

"Why" I asked sadly "Because, I want to be the best here.. I want to own like shade does..." She hissed. Wow she was something else. "I don't own this place, and whoever said I was the best is a liar.." Shade's voice came from the door. We both turned. "But you are, you have the best figure now after your upgrade, you have the best technology your human form is just...amazing.." Shade looked at the floor. "You wouldn't think I'm so amazing if you knew the whole story.." She said sadly, what did she mean by that...
