AU: Schlatt is a higher up in a military and Quackity has to treat one of his injuries from battle. Schlatt is a commander or general, Wilbur is his lieutenant, Quackity a medic.

I was cleaning up the clinic, disinfecting everything, as it was almost lights out, when they came. Soldiers, scraped and cut carried an injured man in. I didn't recognize him at first, but once they lyed him down, I could see the white horns protruding from his head, dark blood staining the beautiful things.

"What happened?" I asked the soldiers. They shrugged, frowning. "Do I need to treat any if you?" The soldiers shook their head. "You're dismissed. Go get some rest." The soldiers saluted and left. The man on the bed stirs.

"Who are you?" He coughs. He attempts to right himself, but I quickly usher him down.

"I'm the medic, general. What happened?" The man sighed, rubbing his temple with his thumb, seemingly trying to remember something.

"A... bomb. Or maybe a person. I don't know. I couldn't see it." I took a closer look at the general, and found some injuries. A gunshot wound near his stomach, a cut along his arm, some bruising on his neck. Although, that wasn't unnatural. None of the injuries were life threatening. Although a human would be dead automatically, ram hybrid skin is exceptionally tough. The gunshot barely pierced his skin and the cuts are minor. The bruises, I suspect, aren't from the battle at all, but that's a different matter.

"Would you mind sitting up?" He nods, shakily bringing his body upward. I move so I can see his back. The uniform bloody and torn, but only on his side. The rest of him is like before. "Have you been injured badly before?" He nods. "Where?" He points to the side that is bloody. Great. Even more work for me.

"Is it bad?" I sigh, nodding. He laughs, which is not what I expected. "Last time the doctor was all sugar-coating. I almost blew open my side, you know. I'm pretty sure that doctor had a crush on me." I look once more at his face, staring into goldish brown eyes. A scar runs down one of them, and I stare at it. "Don't tell me you do too." His voice breaks my concentration.

"No. I need to bandage you up, and then I'll have to check up on you every day or so for a few weeks, and no duty, but after a month, you should be as good as new." He rolls his eyes."You can get back to your barracks in a few days." He smiles.

"Good. My second in command is pretty obsessive. Expect a visitor in the morning." I nod."What's your name." The way he said it wasn't a question. He was basically ordering me to tell him my name.

"Dr. Dude." He raises an eyebrow, to which I sigh. "Alexis Quackity Dude." He nods.

"General Schlatt, but you can call me Schlatt." I laugh. "I'm serious, Quackity." I look at him, straight in the eyes. "You aren't calling me by my first name, and it feels weird to call you Dr. Dude all the time, so I'll call you Quackity." I shrug. Grabbing bandages from my cabinet, I walk back toward him. His shirt is already off. He's done this before, that much is clear. He lifts his arm that is sitting against the injury, and I wrap his side. "Thanks." I nod.

"Go to sleep, Schlatt. You need it." He fake salutes as I leave the room. I hear a faint 'Yes, Doctor!' when I close the door. Silly guy.
