Reki sighs as he looks out the window watching the mountain and terrain pass by as Reki gets closer and closer to his grandmother's property. Reki has always been a good kid but recently it seems all he ever seems to focuse on is skateboarding, so his mother has sent him to give live with his grandmother in Canada for a year while he focuses on life.
Finally they made it
His grandmothers property is huge, a windmill, barn, stables, the house and a lot of land where mutiple animals are, cows, pigs, donkeys, goats, chicken, and even horses. Reki has always been jsut as much into horses and much as skateboarding so that was one thing he was pretty exicted about.
"Reki!"
In the distant you could see his grandmother waving at reki.
Reki gets out the car and run towards her to give her a hug.
"Grandma!"
"I feel like I haven't see in ages"
Which might have been true since hasn't seen her since junior high and he's almost graduating now.
"Aw sweet boy reki, ready to have the time of life. Speading your as working on the farm"
"Yes"
"Come on let's get your bags out of the car and we'll get you right in"
Reki and his grandmother bring his bags from the car into the house and they say goodbye to his dad as for now reki won't be Japan for anytime soon.
Reki looks around it was a small get big house which green wallpaper around some parts rotting which gives the house an exotic smell.
"Well Reki for now I want you to get to know the house a bit tommorow I'll shoe you around the farm and the animals."
"K!" Reki says with a giant smile on his face
Upstairs the house mutiple rooms, rows of door, reki got choose his room and he chooses the one with the window right where the horses are. He gets a really good view but reki didn't wanna spoil himself looking at the horses just yet we wanted to wait so for now he took out a yellow banner with a gear shape on it and hang it up on the window for now.
He eats dinner, brushes his teeth, gets ready bed, and then drifts asleep exicted to meet the horses tommorow. Reki wonders what they'll be like...
Reki wakes up getting his day starting
He decides he's gonna wear his black hoodie with the gear looking shape on it. He gets downstairs and there his grandmother is finishing up breakfast which consisted of waffles and a variety of fruits
"How you feeling so far kid?"
"Exicted!"
And it was true reki could hardly wait.
"Well first off I wanted to show you some more of the work stuff and they should be handled. In the afternoon we can go around meeting with the animals."
"Alright."
His grandmother teaches reki how the handle picking eggs, how the water pump works, and importantly the food shed, where most of the food for the animals is kept. Reki gets to meet some chickens, and goats, and reki has an awesome time exploring around and spending time with his grandmother. And then the time comes where he'll get to meet the horses.
As he approaches closer he sees something..
A horse with blue mane
A horse so pretty
A horse you would almost describe so beautiful as snow.
His mane so soft
Reki thinks..
He might be in love it'd the most beautiful things he's ever seen.
Reki meets other horses just as amazing one with a green mane so buff and another with pink mane so elegant.
Reki pets them and feeds them some horse treats but he can't seem to keep eyes off the blue mane house.
"That horse with the blue main"
"Huh"
"His names Langa"
Rekis eyes sparkle
"He's one great house but he hasn't been doing well these past few days his dad recently died and it seems to effecting him a lot"
Reki looks at Langa he can't imagine the pain he must be going through. Losing someone so close.
Reki and his grandmother return back home for dinner. Reki takes off the banner blocking the window staring at Langa. Reki starts to feels his face go red and his heart pounding. He doesn't know what he feels. Reki goes to bed and eventually falls alseep.
The day after day reki always go out to see Langa they enjoy each other's company so much everytime they look at each other reki can feel his face redding. One time reki got to ride langa and they went all across the land riding fast into the sunset liked there'd be no tommorow and they'd spend endlessly together.
The next day reki hurries out the door he finally know whay the funny feeling are the butterflies he gets, his face getting red, he loves langa he loves langa so much. Reki runs to the stables to find Langa and he spots him runs up to him and kisses him so many thought go thoughts and emotion flood his brain. Langa kisses him back too. Uncertain how long they were kissing for but one thing that is certain is the love for each other ❤💙
