Matchmaker (!Edmike!)

Part II

 Time Skip Nobody's PoV

"Ughh what happened?" Edgar said sitting up on Mike's bed not knowing what was in his arms. It wasn't what he thought it would be. 'WHAT THE HELL' he thought when he saw a sleeping Mike leaning on his chest holding him tightly. 

Edgar started to feel fluttery like he did when Mike kissed him. He's no stranger to love and knew what that meant. But did Mike? After a while the painter decided to accept that Mike wouldn't let go any time soon, so he layed down and fell back to sleep.

Time skip again bc imm lasy

After an hour or so Mike had woken up "Ohh mornin Edgar!" Mike said forcefully shaking Edgar awake "UGHH let me sleep you clown."Edgar complained turning the other way not wanting the first thing for him to see in the morning being a clown "COME ON ITS YOUR FIRST MATCH TODAY!" Mike yelled at him "shut the fuck up. Also, care to enlighten me about what a 'match is?" He asked

"..." was all Mike responded with "Are you going to answer me or not, Morton?" "You told me not to talk though, I'm just doing what you told me.. unless you wanna hear me s-" without even needing to finish his sentence Edgar got up pillow in hand, then tackled Mike on the bed getting on top of him and covering his face with the fluffy pillow blocking his ability to see.

KNOCK KNOCK

"Uh Mike? Norton needs help with practicing for the match later," Murro said welcoming himself into the room to be greeted to be what looks like in his eyes 'the new survivor on top of my friend and past co-worker.' "MURRO HELPPPP!" Mike yelled but alas he got a response of "Nevermind. Murro will tell him Mike is busy, lock the door next time."Murro said walking out the door locking it in the process.

When Edgar was sure that no one else would come banging on the door he silently silenced Mike by taking the pillow off of his face and gave him a little kiss on the lips. "Will that shut you up? It better, now tell me about those 'matches' you mentioned earlier will you, darling?"(This is so out of character it's not even funny) Edgar said amused by his response being Mike having a surprised and flushed face "Wellhey'relikeagameofhideandseekbutyouriskyoulifeintheprocess."

(They're like a game of hide and seek but you risk your life in the process)

"Hm.. thanks I will be getting ready." Edgar said walking off to the bathroom, after getting stuff from his suitcase. After minutes later he came out of the bathroom wearing his Narcissus outfit, "Well that's definitely something huh..," Mike said coming out of nowhere and walking around Edgar looking at his outfit carefully "why is it so golden? Were you that rich in the past?" 

"What do you mean? I AM rich in the present not past or future." Edgar said having his usual flat boring look. "MK, sureeee what ever you say buddy. Anyways im going to the dining room, you should know where it is its right outside my room." he said.

Edgars PoV

After a bit of thinking about it I decided to start walking to the dining room, locking the bedroom door before I leave. When in the dining room I found one of my past clients, "Pleasure meeting you here. Chloe Nair." I said holding my hand out "Oh uhm *clears throat* Hello Edgar fancy seeing you here. I did not see you. Also I would be glad if you called me Vera from now on.." She said with a guilty look on her face.

"Anything for one of my clients Vera." I said before walking off to the kitchen to find something to eat. 'but I must wonder.. Why is she taking her elder sister's name?' I asked myself but my train of thought stopped when I bumped into someone, someone very tall.

 "Oh hello Edgar. That's your name right?" a woman in a red dress and scratchy yet soft voice said to me "Yes that is me ma'am, you are Mary correct?"  "Indeed that is me. You seem like a fine young man, by any chance would you like to join Michiko, Xie Bi'an, Joseph, and me in tea?" She asked.

'Atleast there is some form of classhere.' I thought before responding "Yes I should enjoy that." with that she straightened her posture told me a time and where to meet her then took off. 'That was odd.' said to myself under my breath when something no Someone tackled me almost making me lose my balance. "WHAT THE HELL." I yelled at the person who jumped at me "You're mean, anyways we have a match in like 2 minutes come on!" He said dragging me along with him. 

We made it to a room that Mike calls the 'Matchmaking room' and it looks more run down than the rest of this place and I could tell the matches will be NOTHING but bad. "Uh Mike. I have a bad feeling about this." I said while sitting down in the middle of Mike and Norton "I guess, what I mean is all of us do. Nobody likes these matches all we can do is participate and pray that the hunter is friendly." Mike said and with that everything around up flashed to black.
