THE DEVIANTS were growing increasingly more brutal as time passed, the warriors that formed the eternals struggled slightly against the creatures.

Still, they gave it their all. Devi released yet another arrow it soared through the air only for it to be destroyed by one of Ikaris's attacks.

Devi gritted her teeth and the bow disappeared, the arrows were rendered useless by Ikaris, everytime she felt it was going to land he would somehow destroy the arrow.

A deviant approached screeching loudly as it's tail swished back and fourth swatting away the eternals like they were flies.

She quickly held out her hand the bow appearing in her hand, taking the usual stance, she drew an arrow and held her breath but Devi hadn't anticipated the attack from behind.

The other deviant knocked her aside Involuntarily making her release the arrow, a yell from a wounded Gilgamesh said all that she needed to hear.

It was Athena that leaped in to save the day gracefully avoiding the Deviant and dug her sword into the creatures flesh, it screeched again in response to the pain inflicted.

The noise made Devi flinch but the deviant still hadn't been put down, Kingo rushed over and circled the eternal as she prepared an arrow.

"Ready?" Devi yelled over the chaos.

Kingo nodded his hands up, he ducked and she rolled across he's back firing the arrow and dropping to a knee in time for Kingo to turn and shoot over her.

They laughed standing and backing away from the deviant as it prowled around, it's tail suddenly coming back and slicing through her flesh made them both stop.

"You've gotta go see, Ajak." He spoke, urgency dripping from his words.

"I'll be fine, I need to see this battle through."

"It's bleeding, a lot." Kingo fired back, his eyes pleading with her. "Don't make me get Athena."

That was enough convincing for Devi as she turned on her heel without another word to head back to the ship.

Ajak and Druig were instantly by her side upon noticing her entrance, the ripped fabric across her stomach had blood dripping from it.
