A/N: Y/N is named Opal Beatrix, but you can always ignore the name, I just thought it'd be fun to make y/n have a name for a story like this. This chapter is an introduction to the main character Opal Beatrix (Y/N). The chapters after this will involve Opal (Y/N) meeting Draco Malfoy. This is my very first story on here, I am open to any criticism you readers have and feel free to coment anything I might've done wrong or simply tips.

[Opal (Y/N) POV:] After I finished unpacking everything I looked back at my old room, I'd miss it very much. "Opal hurry up can't you?" yelled my sister from downstairs, Arleth. "Coming" I yelled back while dragging my bags downstairs. "Oh this is going to take forever" sighed Arleth as she shook her wand and made the bags float. "Oh" I squealed.
"We have wands for a reason don't we?" said Arleth annoyed. "You do, I don't. Did you forget that I broke mine while packing up?" I replied. "Oh yeah, I keep on forgetting about how careless you can be sometimes." she replied back in a tone that said "No shit".
Arleth was always like this, although we're twins and I'm the oldest, she always treats me like I'm the youngest. I don't blame her, Mom always says she's more mature than me. She isn't wrong, she's much more mature and is definitly the gifted twin.
"What school are we even going to now?" I asked. "I mean we are moving to the UK after all.". "Hogwarts" replied Arleth.
"What?? Hogwarts??" I snapped. "How can we possibly go to Hogwarts after all that happened there? And it only has 7 years, we currently go to Ilvermorny has it has 12 years! How are we suppose to finish our education??" I asked desperate for an answer.
"Well Hogwarts is offering an 8th year this year and I suppose that's enough to finish our education" replied Arleth while she packed pictures hanged on the wall.
"Isn't there any other school we can go to??" I asked nervously. "Well I suppose there is Beauxbatons." She replied. "But we already decided to move to the UK and I have already signed us up for Hogwarts so you gotta deal with it" She added with a smirk on her face.
"Oh come on!" I yelled as I threw myself on a sofa face flat.
[ 2 months later]
"Hey rock come look at what came in the mail!" yelled Arleth from the kitchen. "Coming" I replied getting off the couch.
"What is it?" I asked looking at two strange looking letters my sister had in her hands. "Hogwarts letters" replied my sister in a singsong voice. "Oh?" I replied sounding confused. "I thought the semester started in September." I said while opening my letter.
"Here the letters come about 2 months before the semester starts." she replied while opening her letter with a wide smile.
"Dear Ms. Beatrix,
We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please find enclosed a list of all necessary books and equipment.Term begins on 1 September. We await your owl by no later than 31 July. Due to the fact that you are a new student at Hogwarts there will be extra items required for you to purchase.

"Well looks like we've got some shopping to do since it's our first year at Hogwarts." said Arleth with a smirk on her face. "Come on we'll apparate at Diagon Alley, I heard that's a place where we can buy good quality school suplies."
"But-" Before I could say anything she rushed to get our coats, grabbed my arm, and apparated to Diagon Alley. "Oh god" I said feeling dizzy. I never really liked apparating, it always made me feel dizzy. It also didn't help the fact that my sister made us apparate out of the blue without a warning
