[ 2 months later, September 1st, 5:00 am]

[Opal (Y/N) POV]

"Come on wake up unless you want to go there yourself!" yelled Arleth as she pulled my blanket off me. "Why so early!" I whined. "Because the train leaves at 11 and we need to be there by 10!" responded Arleth as she started brushing out her hair.
I finally gave in and forced myself to get up. I walked to the bathroom with a weird feeling in my stomach. I was really nervous about the idea of going to Hogwarts. It just didn't seem safe.
[ 4 Hours later]

"Are you sure you have everything?" asked Arleth. "Yes and I checked the 12 times you wanted me to, I have everything packed" I replied annoyed. "Ok, hold my arm," said Arleth picking up her bag. "Oh we're not apparating there are we??" I groaned. "There is literally no other way to get there on time and our chimney still isn't connected to the floo powder thing or whatever they call it here," replied Arleth.

"Well here we go" she added in a singsong voice. After apparating and getting rid of the dizzy feeling I looked around the station and at Arleth. "Arleth is that an owl?!?" I asked looking at her right harm. "Oh, it sure is." She said holding it up for me to see it closer. I kneeled down to take a closer look at it. It was a beautiful white owl with pearly grey eyes that looked strangely familiar. Just like the blond man's eyes

"Alright, that's enough admiring Pearl," said Arleth pulling me up to my feet. "You named it?" I asked, "And when and where did you get it??" I added. "One, yes I named her, two, I bought her earlier meanwhile you were getting ready," she responded.

We started walking toward's platforms 9 and 3/4 I wonder if that platform even exists. "Guess who I found at Diagon Alley earlier!" squealed Arleth. "Who?" I asked. "Hermione Granger!" she squealed in excitement. "No way!" I replied shocked. "Yes way, and even better, she said she'll let us sit with her and Harry Potter and Ron Weasley!" added Arleth that looked like she'd explode with excitement. "No way! I don't believe you!", she turned to smile at me. "Well you better believe me, there she is!" she squealed while turning to face Hermione herself.

"Oh my god.." I said trying to stay cool. "Oh there you are Arleth, I suppose this is your younger sister?" said Hermione while shaking Arleth's hand and turning to look at me. "Oh no, we're twins and I'm actually the older twin, and I prefer to just be called sibling, I'm non-binary" I replied. "Well I would've actually never guessed, and sorry for misgendering you, Hermione Granger nice to meet you," she said while extending her arm. "Opal Beatrix, nice to meet you too" I replied, nervously shaking her hand. "No need to be nervous, I won't hurt you," said Hermione with a smile.

"Well I suppose this is your first year at Hogwarts correct?" she asked. "Yes it is, where exactly is the platform though?" asked Arleth. "Well it's over there," she replied pointing towards a brick wall. "The wall?" I asked confused. "Yes we have to walk through the wall to get to the platform," she replied. "Won't muggles see us though?" I asked looking around "I assume not everybody here is a wizard". "Well we do have to be careful about that, would you like to go first?" she asked while turning to look at me. "W-What?" I replied scared. "Don't worry, all you have to do is walk through the wall. You can run if you're nervous". I turned to look at the wall. "Alrighty then" I sighed. I started running toward the wall expecting to crash, but instead, I went right through.

I looked around the station, it had a huge red and black train. On the front of the train read "Hogwarts Express" and with a logo of what I assume is the school's logo.

After both my sister and Hermione got through the wall we headed into the train and started looking for Ron and Harry. "They should be in here," said Hermione as she opened the door to a cabin. I peered inside to see the same blond man I saw at Diagon Alley. "Wrong cabin, sorry  Malfoy," said Hermione as she closed it. We headed to the cabin next door and inside sat Harry Potter and Ronald Weasley.

"Hey guys, this is Arleth and Opal Beatrix," said Hermione gleefully. "Hello, Arleth Beatrix nice to meet you," said my sister shaking hands with both Harry and Ron. "Hermione did you really bring a third year into our cabin?" asked Ron while looking at me. "I'm actually in 8th year just like you and my name is Opal Beatrix, oldest twin by 3 hours," I responded annoyed while shaking his hand. "Oh, well you look awfully young to be in the 8th year." said Ron awkwardly "I honestly can't tell if that's a compliment or not," I said turning to look at Harry. "Opal Beatrix, it's an honor to meet you," I said shaking Harry's hand. "Nice to meet you, Opal, you can just call me Harry though" he replied.

After I sat down I turned to Hermione. "Hermione, may I ask you a question?" "Of course, what is it?" I bit my lip nervously. "Who...Who was the blond guy in the other cabin?" I asked. The cabin went silent and all looked at me. "Oh, uh, well that was Draco Malfoy, Opal" she replied looking uncomfortable. "Well is he a death eater?" I asked. Ron seemed to have flinched and Harry looked extremely uncomfortable. I turned to look at my sister who looked as if I had just asked something really disrespectful, I think I might have.

"Well" began to answer Hermione "He technically is, but he helped Harry defeat Voldemort during the war." "I still believe he is a total asshole though" "Ron!" snapped Hermione. "What? He was a total asshole to us throughout our school time, if his little gang were still here I bet he would continue to pick on us" snapped back Ron as he took a bite of what seemed to be a pumpkin cake. "Can we just change the topic, you guys? And stop fighting," said Harry looking really uncomfortable. "Ok, sorry Harry," replied Hermione.

"I also have a question, how are we going to know what house we're in?" asked Arleth. "Well, I suppose you'll have to be sorted, not sure how though" replied Hermione. The rest of the ride was pretty chill. I could say I bonded with the trio more than my sister. She actually seemed quieter than usual.

"We should change into our robes," said Hermione, "And how are we going to do that?" I asked as I looked at Ron and Harry. "We just throw our robes over our clothes no big deal," she said, as we changed into our robes we arrived at the station and started to get off when I suddenly got dragged by someone into a corner. "We need to talk after the feast, it's urgent" whispered my sister's voice sounding angry.
