Alone.
Izuku lifted his head from being planted into the ground, body stiff and in pain and his backpack next to him. He looks around at his surroundings seeing nothing in particular aside from the fact he recognizes none of his surroundings so he wouldn't know if there was something he was supposed to recognize. He looks around and notices the door that Kurogiri had whispered to him earlier—
Kurogiri.
The LoV.
Izuku grabs out his phone in a hurry, almost dropping it only to find it almost dead. He wouldn't let that stop him however. He opened it going to Japan News Live or JNL for further updates.
"—capture all the villains?"
"Yes, we did. Fear not." Like hell they did. Izuku was right here, standing (Metaphorically, physically he was sitting.) and watching the news. Lying assholes.
"Thank you for your hard work. Can you tell us what will happen to the villains?" The reporter asks the fraud of a hero.
"They'll be taken in for further questioning on their leader. Even if this group is down, they have a leader and we need more information on him."
"That's understandable. Was this battle difficult?"
"Because we launched a surprise attack, it was fairly easy to capture and apprehend all the villains in the base." Because they pulled an unfair (Yet strategic.) move they were able to capture his family. He hated them; resented them even more.
"Thank you for your service All Might. Do you have anything to say to the people at home?" Reporter lady holds the mic out to him.
"Make sure to stay on the path of good and never stray from it. And feel protected citizens, for I am here!" He says his dumb catchphrase again as Izuku fumes in his seat watching him walk off camera.
"StAy On tHe pAtH oF gOoD! I'lL pRoTeCt YoU! I aM hErE!" Izuku mimics the hero-but-not-so-hero-like's words. How could he even say that after what he had just done to Izuku? And he SAW Izuku flee yet told the public nothing? What happened if Izuku made a come back with the LoV's mark? What would the heroes do?
This just infuriated Izuku to a new level, but he tried to calm down and breathe so he can enter that door with a calm head.
Kurogiri had stated how the door was to a back-up base for the LoV if things went South. It was All For One's, the true leader, idea to have one built and boy was he glad that it was. There's a few all over the world but this one was the best one overall for what reason? Izuku didn't know but that didn't stop him.
He stretched his limbs and grabbed his bag from the ground, hanging it over one shoulder. He knocks a few times and when no one, he opened the door only to be greeted with destruction. The room had walls torn down and rubble everywhere from where a wall (Most likely from a hero.) had been burst in from. Cracked computer screens and the glass from them scattered the floor, joining it is a keyboard and the mouse from the computer rested on the almost completely broken desk. The chair was flipped over in a corner of a room next to a bookshelf stacked with old, dusty books. Most had tears and weren't in good condition, but a few were salvageable.
Izuku looked over to the books after the short initial shock and found that it had titles such as: Diary of ... and Survival guide for dummies.
"Some super smart villains they were," Izuku thought as he grabbed the books anyway. He looked around for more materials, still mourning over the loss of his hopefully not dead friends. While looking he found a few materials that were scattered underneath random objects such as a desk lamp. There ended up being a few knifes, money, and other items that would come in useful so Izuku put them in his bag. He looked down and saw something he hadn't seen in years.
His All Might figure.
He looked down in disgust at the figure, remembering how his father had lied about heroes and their morals. Just because villains were what society considered "evil" didn't mean that they didn't have emotions, families, friends, lovers, more. They completely disregard how villains hold so much more love for their close ones rather than heroes who would sacrifice their loved ones to save people they don't even know.
Heroes would sacrifice you to save the world, but villains would sacrifice the world to save you.
That's what he was taught when he was first brought into the LoV, before he had been given a quirk.
And it's true. The LoV had sacrificed a lot when Izuku had gotten taken away and kidnapped. They had given up a lot of their funding and Izuku was returned unarmed like promised, but it was a huge setback for them. They haven't had to sacrifice any people for anyone yet, but Izuku would gladly sacrifice himself or other people to save the LoV.
However, the opposite happened.
But Izuku couldn't dwell on this matter for long considering it was getting dark and he had only a few items. He had decided that he would stay the night where he is and continue searching tomorrow for better materials and shelter.
He took off his backpack using it as a pillow and had grabbed some spare blankets that were kept by the desk. (Probably used for late at night when someone was researching and/or happen to fall asleep at it.) Once he was set up as comfortably as he could be on the floor, he decided to finally catch some shut eye.
•••
Izuku woke up to the sunlight peering through the hole in the wall. He opened his eyes slowly to adjust to the light and sat up using one hand as support while the other was being used to rub the sleepy from his eyes. A yawn escaped him while he blinked and stretched. He grabbed his bag and stood up, putting his items in the bag.
"Time to find better shelter, I guess." He mutters in annoyance, still trying to overcome the sleep while walking out of the building.
Izuku walks around the neighborhood stopping in stores and buying items that are necessary such as a toothbrush, toothpaste, a hairbrush, extra clothes, etc.
After buying what he needed, (It was easy not to be recognized, being in a whole different country, y'know.) he made his way to a quieter part of wherever he was summoned. He knew little about Japan, let alone other countries so he didn't bother having a plan and just went wherever he could. The highways were noisy as he passed by, cars honking and people yelling at one another through windows even though no one could move. The noise annoyed him but Izuku could do nothing as he had no control.
He continued down the freeway, making his way to city streets and then into a place with buildings that appeared to be abandoned. Maybe a few animals and some dust but nothing that was concerning.
There were several buildings surrounding the one Izuku liked, all in similar conditions. He payed no mind to them, having his eyes solely focused on that one that first caught his eye.
It was a small house with a triangle roof, a few windows covered in dust (Like the whole house.) and overgrown bushes surrounding the beige house. A smile finally crossed his face as he walked to the door, having slight difficulty opening it from the stucco.
Once inside, Izuku started to set up his items by making a makeshift bed, closet and other things he would need. It wasn't much and he would need more things such as a computer and a mini fridge, portable power (If that's even a thing.) and a few more items. But, he would work on that another day because right now, all he wanted was to rest his aching feet because after close to twenty-four hours, (With few breaks.) he was close to firstly, passing out from exhaustion and secondly, cutting his own feet off to soothe the pain.
He plopped down onto his makeshift bed allowing his quirk to bring his bags closer.
(Yes, he used his quirk to travel but he can only get so far before the side affects become unbearable. It was only used to help his feet rest from time to time.)
It hurt but he was able to rest on the cold floor with a blanket and a pillow keeping him warm (Somewhat.) and comfortable. (Kind of.)
Izuku wouldn't complain anyway, he was only starting his preparation to rebel against those damn heroes.
