Rose Roy is Logan's youngest child, and his favorite. This could be attributed to many different factors, some being obvious to most people, predominantly Logans other children. But some of Logans reasons for favoring her were complex. I will list some here,

-  Rose was his sole child with his current and beloved wife, Marcia Roy

- She was beautiful, kind, witty, and intelligent

- She was actually successful, unlike some of Logan's other children. He didn't view her as one of his leaches, even though she was made from daddy's money like the others.

- She reminds Logan of her name sake, his own sister the original Rose roy. Logan's sister Rose died young and he blames himself for what happened. But his daughter has so many similar qualities that her existence can sometimes soothe his guilty conscience.

Celebration

Rose is a 23 year old who divides her time modeling, working at the company, and jet-setting between various Roy properties and her NYC penthouse. She considers herself a woman of many "talents" that have situated her pretty high up at Waystar Royco. She runs one of the many branches under the massive conglomerate, specifically the makeup/fashion sector of Waystar. When she first pitched the idea to her dad as a teenager Logan threw her a bone and gave her the money to start her makeup and fashion lines, having no idea that what he considered her playing glorified dress up would be highly profitable. This is another reason Rose is always on Logan's good side. He views his other children, and his investments in their careers and lives, to often be failures. But rose really made something.

Rose was laying in the back of the SVU that was chauffeuring her fresh off her flight back from Paris fashion week back home for her Dad's birthday. Her heels lightly scratching the windows as she sprawls across the seats and starts smoking a cigarette.

"Ma'am you can't do that in here." The drivers says trying to wave away the smoke.

"Oh fuck off, I'm jet lagged let me have this." She says in a joking tone

As they arrive at the family's apartment Rose sits up and pulls herself together. As she's exiting the car she hands the driver $200 and says, "Sorry about the smoke this should cover whatever you have to do to clean it out."

Rose gets off the elevator and is greeted by her mother Marcia.

"How was Paris la jolie fille?" Marcia asks as they embrace.

"As beautiful as always Mom," Rose replies.

Rose makes her way around the room greeting her siblings as they wait for Logan to arrive.

"SURPRISE!!" They yelled as Logan stepped out of the elevator with a familiar looking man, who towered over pretty much everyone at the party. After Everyone gave their hellos and congratulations Logan finally addressed the very tall elephant on the room.

"Oh! Everyone this is Craig by the way, Ewan's Craig, remember?." Logan announced confidently to the room.

"Uhh, its Greg no?" Shiv injected.

Greg shyly corrected the comment saying, "yeah uh Greg, its Greg... but sometimes people like mistakenly call me Craig, so I answer I both."

Greg is connected to the Roy family through Logan's estranged brother Ewan. Ewan earned his hundreds of millions by sitting on the board of Waystar Royco and has owned a ranch for many years. Greg's Father worked closely with Ewan and Logan for many years and Ewan considers him, and greg by extension, almost family. Greg has traveled to visit Logan in search of a job as directed by his mother and at the dismay of Ewan.

After the somewhat awkward encounter everyone settles in and starts mingling. Rose can't help but feel herself being drawn to greg as she watches him and tom seeming to have strange chit chat. She walks over and interrupts,

"So boys what are we talking about here?"

Tom makes a quick exit as Greg stumbles over this words trying to not say something not weird but Rose interrupts again,

"How tall are you Greg?"

"Oh, umm haha I don't know maybe 6'5? Or something like that." Greg nervously responds as Rose seductively stares up at him.

"Hmm I don't think so, its gotta be more than that," Rose states as she looks him up and down, eventually landing her gaze at his lips. She raises her hand and says, "See I dated a guy once and he was 6'5, but now that I think about it he only came up to about... here." Her fingers graze his cheek as she makes the height comparison.

"Anyways you're defiantly taller." Rose whispers to him and promptly walks away to go refill her drink, leaving greg there blushing in the corner.

After the meal Logan announces its time to play "the game" and they all load into helicopters. Once they've arrived Rose and her niece Sophie take pictures together sitting in the grass. Rose had just gotten her nails done and wasn't going to risk ruining her manicure for baseball. She notices greg admiring her from across the field while seemingly being berated by Tom.

After everything has been set up Rose and her mom walk around together watching the shenanigans unfold and scoffing at what an asshole Roman can be sometimes. Marcia has a very close relationship with Rose. She saw how fucked up Logans other children are and wanted better for her daughter so she always made sure she was there.

As they are leaving Logan and his children, excluding Rose, group together in the first helicopter, obviously to discuss whatever business move Rose noticed her Dad bring up throughout the day. So the leftover Roys and Roy-adjacents group into the other helicopter. This is one of the few times Rose doesn't mind being excluded from family business matters, because it means she has landed an opportunity to sit next to Greg on the ride back. As they are in the air Rose notices a panicked look on her moms face as she looks down at her phone.

"Mom? What's happening? Are you ok??" Rose nervously asks.

"Something has happened to Logan," Marcia Announces.
