The Pierce family has been entertaining the idea of Waystar buying PGM. But they are still on the fence about the Roys themselves. So the Roys & co have decided to visit the Pierces so they can prove their "outstanding" moral character. Logan has gathered the family before they leave to discus how they should behave.
Gerri: So to ensure that everything goes smoothly, we have prepared a few do's and don'ts for the weekend...
Frank: Topics to steer clear of include- Ravenhead, ATN, Israel, ... steer onto- gossip, investments, art, movies
Roman: So basically everyone think to themselves: "what would Rose say," before commenting.
Gerri: Funny Roman, but you are right... [to Rose] We really should have you sweet talking these people
Rose: Glad to be of use.
Frank: Or if there are any other, shall we say... like minded people, who think they would be of use in helping our image?
*Frank motions to the room*
Logan: Oh and we'll have to push you around a bit Tom. You're the straw-man for the sins of ATN
Greg: And um my role? Do i have to be part of the whole.. straw-man thing?
Tom: Yes Greg. You work for me- so you have to be on the dark side as well.
*Tom grabs the shoulders of a very uncomfortable looking Greg*
Rose: No. Greg should be with me. It's really a better angle... we can be the, ya know, young like minded- liberals?
Logan: Yeah, yeah why not?
Gerri and Frank concur with Rose's idea.
*Tom shoots Greg a jealous and annoyed look*
Kendall: Look guys, what dad is saying is just know your role and execute?
Logan: Thanks for all your help. We need this. Bagging Pierce is the key to our proxy defense... See you at Plymouth Rock.
Rose truly didn't give a single fuck about buying PGM. It seemed like an ego thing for her dad. But hey, work is work? It keeps everyone happy? So being the poster child for the "new and improved" -non fascist, white nationalist Roy's was her part. And it was a part she didnt even have to play, any opportunity to differentiate Rose's morals from her father's or family's was one she'd take.
