Jess POV

"Lily are you sure about this? I don't think it's a good idea."

"Jess if your gonna chicken out then leave I don't got time for this" lily retorts

Ugh lily always gets in her moods where she acts like what shes doing is smart. She is my best friend but her attitude gets the best of her and she lashes out.

" I'm not gonna chicken out but come on this is a little over doing it, don't you think. Cody help me out here."

"Go ahead Cody tell her she's right and I'm being crazy, please do, I'll go all exorcist next." Lily states.

"Jess you know how lily gets, are you on Jenna's side or something cause you are always by lily 100%. Im with lily on this one, maybe you should just chicken out after all Lily deserves answers." Cody tells me.

"Im not on Jenna's side, it's just Lily gets rash sometimes and she regrets it later on."

"Im not gonna regret anything, Jenna came back with her witch of a mother who as of late has been disrespecting my mother, Jenna's whorish self is gonna tell me what that witch has said!"

' well, Im just gonna be quiet then, no point in arguing, she does have a point but is it wrong to think she doesn't'

Lily POV

'Gonna make my head spin 360 degrees then she will think twice, over doing it ha yea right, Jenna is gonna tell me everything when I'm through.'

(Putting her truck in park and turning off the ignition, gets out and walks up to Jenna's house to ring the doorbell)

"Hello Lily long time no see" Jenna's mom answers the door.
"What brings you here hon? How's your mom doing?"

"I came to see Jenna, thought that we could hang out and she's great, nothing new though, thanks for asking."

"Mom who's at the do-? Oh hi Lily what are you doing here?" Jenna asks

"Came to get you, its been time that we hang out and catch up."

"No thanks, I'm good got to catch up with chores." Jenna lies.

I roll my eyes, 'Little bitch you ain't getting out that easy, Ohh i know what to do' "Cody is in the car"

"Really, well my chores can wait then hanging out is more important, lets go" Jenna quickly says

(Jenna grabs her purse and jogs past Lily towards the truck, Lily smirks, shaking her head walking back)

'What a little whore'

"Have fun" Jenna's mom hollers before shutting the door.

(Jenna gets in the back seat next to Cody and Lily starts the truck)

I look over at Jess and mouth "plan A is working" then ask "Alright where are we going?"

"How about we go to a restaurant" Cody suggests.

"Sounds good I know the perfect one too." I smirk

( Lily starts to longhorn steakhouse and on the way, she stops on the side of the road)

"Alright well, there's been a change of plans, Jenna I know all about how your mother has been spreading rumors about mind so you can either tell me straight and we continue to the restaurant or I can just leave you stranded out here and go to your mother and get it from her, either way I will get answers!"

"I got no idea what your talking about" Jenna lies through her teeth.

"Bullshit, Jenna your mother has always had it out for mine and since you came back to town she has been spreading lies when the two of them haven't talked in years, so either you put a stop to it or I will"

"My mother has never had it out for yours, your mother is the bitch around here, she has been spilling the lies and all she knows how to do is complain about every little thing." Jenna fires back.

"You haven't even talked to my mother or anything since you've been back, so before you talk about her why don't you look in the mirror since that's who your describing, yourself! You can't stand yourself so you just-"

"ENOUGH both of you, Lily you can't do this to Jenna, it's not right, I won't stand by and let it happen. Cody will but I won't have it, Jenna doesn't deserve this" Jess intervenes.

"So your defending her, after all those times when you couldn't stand her, now you defend her"

"Yes, cause Jenna is now my friend" Jess states.

"Fri-, fri-end, how could you consider her a friend after all that happened!?"

"I just can" Jess says.

"Get out, both of you - NOW"

(Jess and Jenna get out of the truck and Lily takes off, stunned that her best friend just betrayed her)

Codys POV

"Hey you want me to drive?" I climb into the front seat.

"No, I'm fine it will help keep my head clear." Lily answers.

"I can tell your lying, it bothers you and you can admit it."

"I am almost home anyway and no it really doesn't" Lily tries to lie.

(Lily pulls up the driveway, shuts off her truck and pulls the key out of the ignition, walking to the front door and going in)

" Hey hon-." I wave a hand to her mother not to ask anything and she obliges, also allowing me to go to lily's room to talk to her.

I follow Lily to her room and she plops down on her bed while Sparky her pug jumps up next to her.

"Um I guess your gonna fall asleep, so I'm just gonna go back home" I say as I begin to walk out of her room.

"Cody wait, can you stay here tonight? I don't want to be alone with a million thoughts running through my mind."

"Sure" I say as I lay down next to her hoping she will be able to sleep; not thinking to much about Jess betraying her.

(Lily lays her head on Cody's chest hoping she won't think to much while Cody holds her. She falls asleep replaying what just happened; but also wondering what will happen tomorrow.)

Hello my fellow readers it's been awhile but I hope u enjoy this update as much as I enjoyed writing it, I like the POV layout better so I think I'm gonna stick to that anyway I do have further plans for this book and hope they go as i plan or even better but let me know wat u think.
