To lie or not to lie

'Should I tell him or just tell him something else? This is so aggravating I don't want to tell him yet forget what Jess said.'

Lily: it's not really my past I should say it's just my parents they don't notice anything really they think I'm like always ok but they never ask.

Cody: Ohh well maybe there to busy with work and stuff. They always seem in a rush.

Lily: yea ik but it would be nice for them to ask questions you know?

Cody: yea I do it's just your worrying to much they may notice, you just don't see that.

Lily: I don't think so it seems as if they don't pay attention.

Cody: specifically seems, you don't even know if they really do your assuming.

Lily: ugh! Ok fine your right. Im assuming and overthinking.

Cody: ik I am. :) so that's the reason well glad you told me it's good to know so I can help.

Lily: lol and yea Jess kinda told me to so there you go.

Cody: so you couldn't just do it lol well thank goodness to Jess.

Lily: hey I was going to do it by myself but I didn't know if you still cared or anything.

Cody: You and your excuses but yea I completely understand and u know u could've asked me. I'll just tell you this yes I still care.

Lily: ik I could've and thanks for telling me now though after Jess already told me.

Cody: Jess told you?! Omg she's gonna get it from me.

Lily: lol yes she did I'm her best friend. Hello you should know
She would've.

Cody: oh ik don't worry but still.

Lily: well I gotta go my parents just got home and I got to finish some hw.

Cody: alright ttyl then.

Lily: yea ttyl.

(Door opens then closes. Lily's parents walk in to the kitchen. Lily gets up from the table and walks to get a cup and fills it with water.)

Lily's mom: hey sweetheart how was your day today?

Lily: it was good Jess came over for a bit.

Lily's mom: that's nice why didn't she stay?

Lily: I was kinda tired and I was gonna take a nap so she didn't want to stay.

Lily's mom: oh well that's good. You hungry at all?

Lily: no I'm fine just gonna go to my room got some homework to finish.

Lily's mom: ok if u need anything just ask.

Lily: ok.

(Lily walks out of the kitchen and to her room. She goes by her tv and takes her vampire diaries Dvd's out and puts one in. She then jumps on her bed waiting for the menu screen.)

'Good thing I didn't tell him the truth but Cody is right they do care must've be my mind overthinking again.'

(While watching tv lily'a phone rings. Lily looks at the caller id and its Jess so she pauses the movie and picks up)

Lily: yello

Jess: hey just checking up did u tell Cody yet.

Lily: um... Yes and no.

Jess: wat u mean yes and no??

Lily: I only said half of it not the whole thing im not ready to tell him.

Jess: ahh. But you said you would well I can't force you to say it and I won't so when your ready tell him.

Lily: Thanxs and don't worry when im ready i will. So you wanna come over and hang im watching the vampire diaries. :)

Jess: of course I will be over soon.

Lily: alrighty.
