My Submissive Mate

Chapter 9

I slowly drift back into consciousness. The first thing that comes to me as I wake up is how warm and soft this pillow is. I slowly blink my eyes open, helping myself adjust to the sunlight. As soon as I can see clearly again, I see a giant wolf right in front of me. I squeal and try to back away from the wolf. All this manages to do is wake the wolf up. I watch him in fear hoping I haven't upset the wolf. The wolf lets out a whine when it sees me a couple of feet away from him before he gets up and walks over to me.

He licks me as soon as he gets close to my face. "Eeewww gross," I say, which seems to make the wolf happy as his tail starts to wag. I pat the wolf for a little while until I realise I need to go home before my parents start to worry. Realising this I stand up to leave and start walking back the way I came. It only takes a couple of minutes before I hear the wolf following me and whining. "Sorry wolfie, but I need to go home now. I can come back tomorrow as well so you won't miss me for long," I say to the wolf. Hoping that it will stop him from complaining. The wolfs whining stops after a short while making me smile at him.

We slowly walk back to my home together. I start to enjoy his company more and more over the walk back home with him. I start to talk to him even though he's a wolf it feels like he can understand me.

When we can see my house through the trees I start to slow down even more. I don't want this walk to end yet. I sigh and sit down. The wolf sits down in front of me tilting his head in confusion. I wrap my arms around him, burying my head in the wolf's fur. The wolf lets out a purr like sound, he must be happy. I hug him for a while longer before pulling away. "I'll see you tomorrow then wolfie," I say before standing back up and walking towards my house. When I reach the back door I look back to see the wolf watching me from the edge of the forest. I wave back at him and watch as he nods before walking back into the forest.

I walk inside and head to the kitchen. Surprisingly it seems that no one is home, which is always a rare occasion in this house. I see a note on the kitchen counter so I walk over and pick it up. Reading it I find out that my parents and Greg have gone to the park together. And I'm guessing Jenny has gone to one of her friend's houses. This means I have the house all to myself!!

I quickly go through the freezer and find a tub of mint chocolate ice cream, my favourite. I also grab a spoon and make myself a hot chocolate with marshmallows. I take all my snacks into the lounge room and set it all on the coffee table, before running upstairs to my bedroom. I quickly grab my fluffy blanket and a couple of my pillows, before rushing back down to the lounge room.

I quickly set myself up on the couch wrapped up in my blanket surrounded by pillows. I made sure to grab the remote before I got comfortable. I quickly go through my Netflix account looking for something to watch. Before finally, I settle on Shadow and Bone. The show is good but the books are so much better.

I quickly become absorbed into the show finishing my snacks faster than I can watch the show. Before suddenly I hear a knock on the door breaking me from my trance. I pause the show before slowly getting up while keeping my blanket wrapped around me. I walk to the door as the person knocks again.

I open the door to find Mr Stevens on the other side. "Um, hello?" I say to him, confused as to why he's here. "Hi, you ready for our tutoring lesson?" he says to me.

"Oh shit, I didn't know that was today. Come in, I'll clean up real quick." I hurry in rushing to the lounge room to clean up the mess I created.

I hear him chuckle as I run away, the blanket falling off as I do leaving me in only my booty shorts and tank top. I quickly gather up the banket and run out, I swear I heard a low growl as I ran out.

Hiiiiiii!!!!! Sorry, it's been so long since my last update!! I've been really tired and my anxiety has been flaring up soo much recently!! Hopefully, I can update more now that it's calmed down now!!!
