Chapter 10

"You can't possibly like her Lee Heeseung. Can you?"

Heeseung's POV (Present)

I went to the class and waited for the teacher. I still had 15 min, so I took my phone out to kill time. I got a text from Jay.
"We are checking the forest and got the information we wanted about the last pack, my assumption was correct it's a unit of a pack."
"Did you get the name?"
"Blood moon."
"Ok, anything else?"
"Not really. If there's anything I will inform you."
"Ok bye."
I kinda guessed it, it was either going to be Blood moon or the Dark rose, But blood moon pack's leader is still there, ruling it and I remember my father said "he is back". So....

"Good morning students." The teacher came inside and greeted everyone.
'What a great timing.' I rolled my eyes and kept my phone inside my pocket, taking out my books. I know I've said this before but I'm going to say it again 'Fuck my life.'

TIME SKIP (LUNCH)

Finally the class was over and students started leaving. Should I go to the rooftop? My stomach growled answering instead of me. I guess I'm going to the cafeteria. Y/N might be there too. I smiled at the thought. The actual fuck, I sound like a lovesick puppy. I sighed and went out of the classroom. Soon I entered the cafeteria and found Taehyun and Suzy talking so I went to sit with them.
"Hiii Heeseungie hyung." Taehyun said.
"Hii Heeseung." Suzy said.
"Hii guys." I settled and noticed Y/N wasn't there.
'Wait, doesn't she always sit with them.' I thought.
"Where is Y/N??" I asked curiously.
"Woah woah woah, hold on, aren't you the one who is always bickering with Y/N and now you are worried about her. Are you ok??." Suzy said, getting confused.

"I'm not worried about her, let's start there. And about the always bickering part, we literally argued ONCE. And I asked about her out of curiosity because she is always with you." I answered, rolling my eyes.
"Ok fine. No need to get so defensive."
"I was just answering your question, girl."
"Oh really, I thought yo-"
"Here she comes." Taehyun said cutting Suzy. We all turned to see Y/N running towards our direction. She came and sat beside me without noticing.
"Sorry guys I'm late. The Library form took a lot of time." She panted heavily and kept her head down.
"Just breath Y/N, it's ok."
After few seconds of calming down she put her head up and looked around.
She was normal but the moment her eyes met mine, she froze. We held the eye contact for few seconds then awkwardly looked at opposite direction.
"Is there anything going between you both that we don't know about??"
"No, it's not." We both said at the same time which made things more awkward.
They both looked at us weirdly, then shrugged .
"Oookayy. Anyways, I wanted to ask you something hyung."
"Me? Really. What is it??"
"Do you like to play basketball?"
"Yeah. Why??"
"There is a basketball match in the evening, so I was wondering if you would want to play."
I thought about it for a moment. I have to train today, except for that I have nothing else to do. It's been a while since I've played basketball.
"So.." Taehyun said with hopeful eyes.
"I will come with you."
"Yesss."
"Y/N and Suzy, you guys are coming to cheer for us right?"
"Yes, I'm coming. I've nothing else to do anyway."
"Y/N, you??"
Y/N looked at me for a second then turned towards Taehyun.
"Umm ok. I guess."
"Good." Taehyun said happily.
Then the bell rang and we all went to our respective classes.

TIME SKIP
Author's POV

After the class was over, Heeseung packed his books, ready to leave. He started heading out just then he saw Taehyun, Suzy and Y/N talking to each other. Then he remembered about the basketball match. He went towards them and greeted them.
"Hyung, you ready for the match?" Taehyun asked excitedly.
"Yeah, I'm ready."
"Let's go. Others are waiting there."
They reached the playground, Taehyun and Heeseung went to warm up and the girls went to the bleachers.

The boys were warming up for the match. As they were waiting for the match to start
Suzy was continuously talking to Y/N. She had no choice but to listen to her friend rant about something she is definitely not interested in but she still hummed from time to time in order to tell her that she is listening but her whole mind was occupied with thoughts about Heeseung. She kept stealing glances from him.
'Wow, how can someone be so fine. That's not fair, you know.' She thought while looking in his direction.
On the other hand while warming up, Heeseung felt stares on him. He turned and found out Y/N looking at his direction, he made an eye contact with her then she suddenly turned to Suzy. Embarrassed that she got caught while staring at him. He chuckled softly and went back on stretching.

The match was about to start, Y/N and Suzy were cheering for Yeonjun, Soobin, Taehyun and Heeseung.
"Y/N, is that you??" Someone shouted.
"Oh, Hii Hyuka." She immediately recognised his loud voice. They both greeted and shook hands.
"Hii Huening Kai. Long time no see." Suzy said while hugging him.
"Hii shorty. How you doing?"
She elbowed his stomach and Huening Kai growned in response.
"Oh my precious abs."
"How many times do I need to tell you?? Don't ever call me shorty, you idiot."
"Aish you're still like this. No wonder you and Taehyun get along. Ahhh my abs hurt."
"You don't even have abs. Stop embarrassing yourself."
"Whatever the game is about to start."
With that they all sat there and cheered for their friends.
"Go Yeonjun!!!"
"Go Soobin!!!!"
"Go Taehyun!!!!"
"Go Heeseung!!!!"
They cheered and cheered for them. And on the other hand, there team was winning with really good points, Heeseung being the MVP. Just 2 mins were left for the match and Yeonjun's team had an upper hand on the opposite team.
Yeonjun dribbled the ball till the half court and passed it to Heeseung. Heeseung skillfully passed the opponents and just before shooting his eyes met Y/N's and he winked at her and shot the ball perfectly in the basket, winning the match.

"OMG. Y/N, did you see that??? He winked at you. Wait, is there something going on between you two?" Suzy asked.
" N-no, it's n-nothing." Y/N said, mentally facepalming herself for stuttering.
"Are you sure?? Do you like him by any chance??"
That made Y/N look at her with wide eyes.

Heeseung's POV

The match ended with our victory and we did a group hug. Everybody praised eachother for playing good.
"Hyung, you were so cool back there. I didn't know you were such a good player. I'm going to call you in every match from now on." Taehyun said happily.
"Thanks Tae." I chuckled ruffling his hair.
"But you know what, I know what you did there." He smirked getting closer to my ear.
"What are you talking about about??"
"I saw the way you winked at her before shooting. You think I didn't notice the tension between you both."
My eyes widened after hearing him. He had a teasing look on his face.

"You like her, don't you??"
