Chapter 4

Heeseung's POV

"Y/N, what are you doing here??"

She stared with me for few seconds, then she suddenly hugged me and started crying. There was a sudden spark in my chest and butterflies in my stomach, personally I don't like this feeling. I was about to push her away but then feeling her whole body shivering against me, I just let her be.

She buried her face in my chest mumbling something. I was having a little war in my head, whether I should hug her back or just stay still, at that moment she looked really fragile like if I touch her, she will break apart. Then I started patting her back lightly.
After few minutes she started to calm down, she lightly pulled away then looking into my eyes with her red and puffy eyes.
"I-I'm s-sorry, I didn't mean to hug y-you. Sorry."
"No, it's ok. You're probably too scared. But what I want to know is what made you so scared?" I asked being very cautious.
'I hope she see didn't see us wolves fighting'
"T-that w-wolf...."
That alerted my senses. I started becoming nervous.
'Maybe she did see me in my wolf form. Shit.'

I waited for her to answer.
"T-that wolf killed a small puppy. That wolf was really big and he ruthlessly killed that puppy." She said, her eyes started watering again. I sighed thanking the moon goddess. Then I thought about the situation for a second.
'What was she even doing here in the first place. Doesn't everybody know this is a dangerous place. That wolf could've harmed her.'
"Why did you even come here. Don't you know this forest is very dangerous and it's filled with a lot of wild animals."

"No, I'm new here so I didn't know about this place being dangerous. And about entering this place, I actually saw a puppy and decide to follow it because it looked like it was someone's pet. I was following it but then lost its track, then suddenly I heard loud growls. When I went there I saw that big wolf attacking the same puppy and he killed it." She said in a low voice and sniffles could be heard.
I took out my handkerchief and passed it to her. She took it before glancing at me for a second.
"You really came here following a dog." I said, being shocked at her.
'This girl is really crazy.'

She was deep in her thought when I felt another presence near us. I wanted to check out so I could find something but looking at Y/N's state, I can't leave her alone here. And with her I can't even change to my wolf form.
"Hey, let's just go out of here. It's already dark and many animals are here."

TIME SKIP

We walked in silence but it was a comforting silence. With cool night breeze touching our faces gently.
We walked outside of the forest. I looked beside me, Y/N was walking slowly as if she was going to pass out.
"Hey, you look very tired. Let's just sit on that bench for a moment." She didn't say anything just nodded her head. We sat at the bench looking at the night sky.

"Wait, don't you have to go home your parents must be really worried." I asked her thinking about her parents because its almost 8 pm.
"My parents went on a business trip this afternoon." She said, zoning out.
Suddenly her stomach growled indicating her hunger. I looked at her, she was probably embarrassed about it.
When I stood up to bring something for her to eat, she held my hoodie.
"Wait, where are you going?" She said looking at me with her bloodshot eyes. I sighed 'she is still scared'.
"I'm going to get you something to eat."
She nodded her head with a quiet "ok".

Author's POV

Heeseung came back with cup noodles for both of them.
"Eat." He said giving her the food.
They ate in the silence. After they finished Heeseung was deep in his thoughts.
'that wolf, his scent was somewhat familiar. It's like I have met him before. But where?'
On the other hand chills ran down Y/N's spine whenever she thought about that scene. She was already tired from her first day in the college and events after that made her way more exhausted.
"Let's just go home." Y/N said with a small voice.
They again started walking. Then they came at a point where they both had to separate their ways.
"Thank you and sorry for today." Y/N said staring at the ground.
"It's ok. Next time just don't roam around like that."
"Bye. Good night."
"Bye."

TIME SKIP

Heeseung's POV

I came home and went straight to take a shower, today's day was straight up hectic.
I didn't get information about the killer. When I heard that Soobin and Yeonjun guy talking about werewolves, I thought maybe  I could get something but turns out they just doing their shitty project.

All I got to know is, the area behind the university has some werewolves. I have to find out more. My mind was occupied with all these stuff when Y/N suddenly crossed my thoughts. The way her small body shivered against mine, her bloodshot eyes and her trembling lips. The butterflies again started swarming inside my stomach.
'what is this feeling? Whatever this is I don't like it. Lee Heeseung get yourself together. That girl is just a trouble.'
I sighed heavily and got out of the shower.
After wearing clothes, I called Jay.
"Yes. Hee." Jay answered.
"Jay, I need you to check the area behind Seoul University. I think there are packs hiding in the woods. Take good amount of people with you because I'm not sure about how many are there."
"I'll order 2 units to go there, tomorrow."
"Send them now and search the whole area. I need all information about it ASAP."
"As you say, Alpha."

Y/N's POV

I went home exhausted from the sequence of scenarios that happened today. I just want to have warm and relaxing bath. I prepared the bath and played soothing music. After striping out of my clothes, I sat down in the tub. Feeling the warm water, my muscles started to relax under the water.
I started recalling today's events. All the classes, Suzy being my friend and then meeting Taehyun, Yeonjun and Soobin. Then that puppy and wolf incident. Even thinking about it makes me want to cry. If Heeseung wasn't there, I would just sat there and cried.
Ah! Heeseung. My first encounter with him wasn't that great. Even in the cafeteria we just argued but he still helped me. I was so scared that I just hugged him out of nowhere. What will he think? That I'm trying to hit on him.
Then I remembered 'It's ok, you were probably too scared.'
Whatever it is, I'm thankful that someone was there at that time but there was something that suddenly warmed me up instantly, maybe his presence or maybe not.
'Would I still feel the same if it was someone else.'

TIME SKIP (in the morning)

Author's POV

Morning classes went fast, Y/N, Suzy and Taehyun went to the cafeteria. They sat at an empty table when Suzy saw Heeseung.
"Hey, Heeseung. Here."
Heeseung definitely didn't wanted to be with somebody but when he saw Y/N with them he instantly changed his mind. Why? He doesn't know.
He went to the table, greeted them all and settled down.
On the other hand Y/N became a blushing mess when she saw Heeseung. Yesterday's event started playing infront of her like a movie.
"Y/N, are you ok? You're face is suddenly red. Are you sick or something?" Suzy said getting worried.
"No, I'm fine."
"Is it because of Heeseung hyung?" Taehyun whispered coming close to her.
"Are you crazy!"

Heeseung's POV

I looked towards Y/N's direction and her face was painted in deep shade of red. Taehyun whispered in something her ear and she glanced at me for a second then looked down.
Suddenly my nose caught the same scent from yesterday. Alot of students entered so that means that wolf from yesterday is here.
"Hey, Junie." Taehyun said when he saw Yeonjun and Soobin entering the cafeteria.
"Hey guys. What are you doing?" Yeonjun said sitting with Soobin.
"We know that you have really small eyes but I didn't know you are blind. Can't you see they are eating."
Yeonjun hit Soobin and then Soobin returned it by hitting his shoulder.
"Ahh." Yeonjun winced.
"Hey! I didn't even hit you that much." Soobin said in disbelief.
"How many times do I have to tell you that I hurt my shoulder yesterday, you fool." Yeonjun said in pain.

'His shoulder. I remember that I clawed that Wolf's shoulder. Now that I think about it that scent did seem a bit familiar and I met Yeonjun yesterday only.'

'Could the wolf from yesterday be....
YEONJUN???'
