"Are you trying to get me drunk?" I ask as Nayel hands me another glass of wine.
Nayel chuckles softly, his hand squeezing my thigh gently.
We just got done with dinner and were sitting on his couch in the living room, talking while I was admiring the beautiful view.
"This is literally the best view," I say dreamily looking at the skyscrapers and blinding lights, taking another sip of wine.
"Mine is better," Nayel says, I look over at him to see him staring at me making my cheeks heat up.
I roll my eyes, "You're so cheesy sometimes" Nayel takes the glass from my hand and sets it on the coffee table. Nayel sets his hands on my hips and before I know what's happening he's picking me up and setting me into his lap making me straddle it.
"I was just being honest," Nayel says his hand caressing my cheek, "you are my favorite view," Nayel says looking into my eyes lovingly.
I can't help but blush and lower my gaze, why do I get so shy sometimes around him.
Nayel chuckles softly, "You're so adorable" Nayel cups my face in his hands and presses his lips onto mine. I move further into his lap wrapping my arms around his neck deepening the kiss.
Nayel's hands fall from my face to my thighs, pushing his warm palms against my bare skin and rubbing my thighs.
Nayel's tongue grazes against my bottom lip trying to slide inside my mouth but I pull away from the kiss and Nayel just smiles at me bringing his hand back to my face and cupping my cheek.
I gulp, "So what is happening here?" My tone was a little breathy.
Nayel smirks, "Well Ria, right now you're sitting on my lap"
I roll my eyes, "What do you want to happen here with us?" Nayel asks, his tone serious but his features still soft as he caresses my cheek.
I sigh, "I don't know" I drop my hands from his neck, "Our personalities and attitudes clash like right into each other," I say earning a low chuckle from Nayel, "We are oil and water we clearly don't mix so what is this?" I ask pointing between us, "just sexual attraction?" I ask raising my eyebrows, "because I am not going to be one of your conquests, one of the girls you get to tick off from your list" I say narrowing my eyes at him in confusion.
Nayel smiles, his fingers soothingly grazing my cheeks making me feel warm and fuzzy inside, "Do you really think I only want you for your body?" Nayel's eyes soften, a little sad even as he looks into my eyes.
I bite my lower lip and shrug, "Wow I must be really hard to read huh?" Nayel chuckles sadly.
"Kinda," I say.
Nayel sighs, "Ria, you're a people's pleaser, you're an optimist who sees the best in everyone and every situation. You're always putting everyone else's needs over your own and I don't understand how you live like that, it's absurd." Nayel rolls his eyes, "It's like you're sabotaging your life and making it difficult for yourself for what reason?" Nayel furrows his eyebrows.
I open my mouth but Nayel smiles, "That wasn't a question baby" he says, "I'm just explaining my thoughts" I felt my heart explode when he called me baby, he's never called me that before. I don't think any guy has ever called me that before. Nayel has only called me that once when I jerked him off, suddenly my cheeks heat up and I remember I did that, Nayel was staring at me with a smirk as if he could read my mind making me lower my gaze. He chuckles to himself squeezing my waist with his free hand and resting it there.
"Anyways" Nayel smiles, "I've never been attracted to women who weren't like me before, never a girl like you"
"So you've only dated cold-hearted girls like you?" I blurt out.
