"The UA sports festival first-year stage qualifier! The first game is an obstacle course race! It's a cruel chicken race where anything goes as long as you stay on course!" Mic said; almost hitting Mal in the head. But lucky Mal dodges it. "Hey," Mal said. "We'll bring you exciting scenes with camera robots set around the course!" "He doesn't need us, does he?..." Mal whisper to Aizawa. "Yup..." "Now then can the golden eggs aiming to be future heroes get through the mass of Robo Infernos?! The first one through the first barrier is Todoroki Shoto from Class 1A!"

When the Robo fall, some of the students are trapped underneath the Robots. One of them is Kirishima from Class 1A. "Kirishima from Class 1A was underneath! That's crazy!" Mic said. Then someone comes out from underneath the Robo. "Tetsutetsu from Class B was also underneath! That's crazy!" Then when it seems like the students are about to work together, Bakugo uses his quirk and blasts some explosions making him fly up over the robots. "Class 1A, Bakugo! Since the bottom's blocked, he goes overhead! Clever!" Not just that, Tokoyami and Sero also did the same thing. They pass the robots by going over them. "As expected, most of the group that's gone ahead is from Class A. But Class B and the other course aren't bad, either. It's just... Class A doesn't spend a lot of time standing around. Those who experienced firsthand, that world above them through the incident at USJ... Those who had fear planted in their hearts... Those who dealt with it and pulled through... They all used that experience to drown out their hesitation," Mal said to herself.

And then the Robo Infernos are defeated by Yaoyorozu and her cannon that she made. By that, the students take advantage and pass the first barrier. "Hey, hey! The first barrier's a piece of cake? Then what about the second? If you fall, you're out! If you don't wanna fall, then crawl! It's 'The Fall'!"

The students' next obstacle they have to go to a cross to go to the next obstacle. But the only way to do that they must jump or walk on the tight ropes.

Mal's POV

When the students reach the second obstacle, my phone vibrates. I took my phone from my back pocket and saw Carlos calling me. "I have to take this call, I'll be back," I said. I go out of the room then pick up the call.

"Carlos, what is it?" I ask. "Quick heads up, a criminal is on the run. I don't know if the police are going to reach you or not... All I know... the criminal is pretty... hard to catch. The police were very close catching them, but he get away," Carlos said. "What did he do?" "Well... he stole 343.3725 yen [3 US Dollar (USD)]--" "Just that?" " You didn't let me finish, M. He stole it from 105 banks around the world, and in each country, he took 343.3725 yen from 100 banks. Making he made over 3,605,411.2500 yen [31,500 US Dollar (USD)] and he start this last year." "What?!" I'm shocked. He stole that much money within a year?! "Why did he steal that much money?" I ask. "Well... gambling at Las Vegas." "Gambling. Are you kidding me?!" "Nope, he took that much money just for gambling." "But why did he end up here? And why Japan's police?" "Since... All Might is here." "All. Might." "Yeah... well not just that... his movements are heading here too and he is from Japan. So... yeah..." "Okay... can you send me more information about this guy?" "Yeah sure." "Alright, call me back later." "Got it, see ya."

I hung up the call. Then a notification pops up and the police department needs my help to catch a criminal. I knew this would come. I go back to the room and took my hydro flask. "I gotta go, job calling me," I said. "Okay, you can go," Mic said. "Careful, don't do some dumb shits," Aizawa said. I chuckle hearing what Aizawa said. "I don't do dumb shits, Aizawa. I know what I'm doing," I said replying to Aizawa's words. And by that, I immediately go to the police station.

Aizawa's POV

Well, it seems like Mal needs to go. Jeez... hate to admit it, but I genuinely care for her. From the news about what she did, that scared the shit out of me. And hearing that she needs to go because her job is calling her, I just need to tell her to be careful. As she goes out of the room I just go look back at the Sports Festival. "You care about her?" Mic asks. I just looked at him and he smirks. The fuck?...

Mal's POV

I took my bag from my locker and go to my car. I need to drive my car for 30 minutes until I reach my destination. So, not to miss out on the UA Sports Festival, I connect my phone to my car and turn on the news about the UA Sports Festival.

Timepass by and I reach the police station. The difference from other police stations, this police station is much bigger than the others. It is like the main station from other police stations.

I walk into the building and go to floor 27 by taking the elevator

I walk into the building and go to floor 27 by taking the elevator. As I was in the elevator, I take a look at my phone. I saw the data about this criminal that Carlos just send me. As I reach the 27 floors, I go to the meeting room. There is only the police and detective. Most of the Pro Heroes are at UA watching the Sports Festival. "Pro Violet, thank you for your time," detective Nakagome Shiki greet me. "Please take a seat." "Thanks," I reply. I take a seat at the end of the table making me have a better view of the presentation about this case.

"I'll start this meeting," detective Nakagome said. "Out suspect on the loose name is Jacob Lackie. He's half Japanese and half American. He had already stolen over 3,605,411.2500 yen [31,500 US Dollars (USD)] from 10,500 banks around the world. We were so close to catching him, yet he go away. He uses the money for gambling in Las Vegas, Nevada. That is where his father lives. As this had been going for 1 year... there isn't any progress. Until 2 days ago, we were able to locate his location and we almost got him, but he go away. His house is at *******" Nakagome said. "May give information that I have?" I ask. "Please do." "I have some help from my friend and we able to locate the casino he goes to. He goes to The Plaza Casino and never changes casino. And that casino is also where his father, Marcus Lackie used to gamble. Marcus Lackie is a king of gambling at The Plaza Casino. He always wins at every game, especially poker. And it seems like the son's character is a copy of his father. But one day, his is losing at the game and he was in huge debt. Over 114,353.5000 yen [1000 US Dollar (USD)] but that debt was paid off.

But then, he keeps losing at the game. And all of the people there are bullying him. And by that, he killed himself. The is a possibility that the motive is revenge for his father," I said. "That is a huge possibility... But where would he be right now?" "Yohana Maehama Beach, that must be the place," I said; confidently. "Why?" one of the officers asks. "Yohana Maehama Beach is where the body of Marcus Lackie was found. The forensics that handle him reported that  Marcus Lackie suicide by drowning himself. It's either revenge or he thinks that his father didn't suicide," I said. "Wow, you've got a lot of information, Violet," one of the officers compliment me. "Thank you," I said. "Well then, shal we go the Yohana Maehama Beach?" "Yeah, but... we're not going there with this outfit. Well at least one of us needs to change into a better one," I said. We all are using very formal outfits. "One goes undercover looking for him and the other just wait?" Nakagome asks. "Am okay with that," I said.

"Very well, Violet you'll be going undercover"
