Hayes POV
I am way more excited for school today than I have ever been. Yesterday was nice to play lacrosse with a girl for once. I wish that afternoon hadn't ended.
*at school* (same POV)
I walked into homeroom and Lana sitting in there. She must have just received her locker. I was walking over when I noticed she was talking to one of my close friends, actually one of my best friends, Amber. She's a girl and I hope she doesn't get all catty with Lana. It could ruin everything. I walked over to the desk open next to Lana and said Hey.
"Oh Hayes I didn't know you knew Lana!" Amber said surprised
"Yeah we met yesterday. Awe are you guys dating or something because I know you date like every girl." she screamed " I don't want you breaking this new girls heart" she said with a smirk
Before I could fight back Lana finally said something
"We are just friends..."
The bell rang and Lana waited up for Amber... great they're friends now.
"Hey Amber can I talk to you real quick"
"Awe sure ya little cutie" she squeezed my cheeks. What the heck!
"Amber why would you say that to Lana?!"
"I only told her the truth and your welcome by the way, cause you guys would not be a very good couple."
"SHE'S MY FRIEND! Stop ok! You are one of my bestfriends Amber just please stop acting like this!"
"Fine Hayes only cause you are my bestfriend too. LUV YA! gotta get to class." she yelled
Now here comes the hard part explaining all this to Lana.
Amber POV
As if I would stop! I'm just getting started.

I headed to my first period class with Hayes... the apparent player. He looked at me and I just acted like I wasn't annoyed. I don't want him to know I like him so I just gotta act like I don't care.
"Lana I swear Amber was just lying. She gets like that sometimes ok?"
"Hayes I'm not mad" I stated back
"I know you enough, you are annoyed but I promise I'm not! just please believe me."
"Ok fine I believe you."
"WHEN YOU TWO ARE DONE FLIRTING I WOULD LIKE TO BEGIN CLASS!" Mrs. Holtz yelled
"Sorry" Hayes and I said in unison
*after school* (same POV)
I road my pennyboard to the mall and ordered a passion tango tea lemonade at starbucks when I saw Amber walk up to me.
"Hey Amb-"
"I know you like Hayes, it's obvious!"
"Um what?" I said back
"Don't worry! I can get him to like you back!"
"Really? Thanks so much!" I said excitedly "I gotta go I forgot about my project due Friday. See ya!"
"Bye babe"
