Chapter 4 The Apology

Hayes POV

If only Lana knew the truth. I don't like Amber AT ALL. Like once the door opened Amber smashed her lips into mine, why?! All we are is friends that's it but i'm not sure I wanna be that anymore. Ugh I sent Lana so many texts and left her so many voicemails and she still hasn't answered me. We have school today so she has no choice but to talk to me. All I have been thinking about is her.

"Hey babe" Amber said and pecked me on the lips

"Amber, what the heck. First of all we aren't dating and second of all I like someone else. I'm sorry we are just friends." I told her

"Well then explain that kiss."

"AMBER YOU SMASHED YOUR FACE INTO MINE! YOU KNOW I LIKE LANA AND YOU PROBABLY DID THAT ON PURPOSE! just- just leave me alone." I yelled

*Lana runs up*

"I heard everything. HOW COULD YOU AMBER! You were supposed to get Hayes to like me not like you! I never want to see you again!" Lana yelled

Amber POV

Well that turned out different in my head...

Lana POV

We all ran to class to avoid being late and Hayes was sitting in the seat next to mine and I just sat down, not wanting to say a word. Hayes past me a note and looked away.

Lana,

We really need to talk. Get a bathroom pass in 5 minutes. Then meet me in the first hallroom to our left.

I got a pass like he asked because I really need to talk to him too. He had left before me and he was already there.

"Hayes I know what really happened... it's fine."

"No Lana it is not fine ok? I really like you too and I feel like something or someone always ruins it. So Lana will you go out with me and all will be ok and we could be happy?" he held out a heart necklace

"Yes Hayes. I would love to go out with you!" We walked hand in hand back to class and it felt great.

When I got home I texted Katy to come over as soon as she could.

"I'm here WHAT'S HAPPENING!!" Katy yelled running through the door

And again I explained what had happened.

"Oh MA GEE!!!" she screamed " When is your date?"

"TONIGHT!"

"I NEED TO HELP YOU PICK OUT THE CUTEST OUTFIT EVER!"

We decided on a black crop top with a white skater skirt and black and white high top converse. Katy curled my hair and I put on eyeliner and mascara. When I was ready I had Katy drive me to Hayes' house.
