Dismounting your steeds, the three of you quietly crept through Dewberry Creek; looking for any signs of life at an abandoned camp you found nestled into craters of where a river bed once lay.

"It's too open, there's no way we could defend this." Charles' nerve broke as he thrashed a can of vegetables off an abandoned table.

Arthur sighed in defeat, rubbing his forehead in frustration, trying to think up a plan of some kind.

Meandering through the creek, you shifted through tents, lock boxes, anything potentially containing supplies that could be useful to the gang. Whimpering from underneath a wagon caught your attention. Standing up carefully, you crept towards the wagon. "Hello?" You called out to no avail.

"Arthur, Charles," summoning the Outlaw's, you pulled a crate from underneath the wagon.

Two children, wide eyed and terrified peered up at you. Their mother cradled them tightly in her arms. Holding their palms up in surrender, they cautiously crept out from underneath the wagon. You turned behind you to find Arthur pointing his Revolver straight at them.

"Arthur!" You batted your hand, instructing Arthur to stand down. "What happened, sweetheart?" You smiled at the woman, tightening her grip over her children's shoulders. "Sprichst du Deutsch?"

"Oh for gods sakes," Arthur's patience had worn thin, "we don't have time for a god-dammed rescue mission." The outlaw hissed.

"Arthur—" you seethed once more at the cowboy. Charles intervened, "do you speak English?" Soothing the tension with his warm tones. "Our Father—they.. he.." The young girl started, her face pale with terror.

"It's okay darlin'," reassuring her to carry on, crouching to meet her level. "A gang of men kidnapped him, they went South." She uttered nervously in broken English, pointing down the Creek.

"We gotta go after them." You turned to Arthur, offering his hand to help you from the ground.

"Fine." The cowboy sighed, storming off in the direction of Caliban. You rolled your eyes at Charles, "C'mon." He mumbled.
