Loki's POV
"What is this about? I was doing something" i am annoyed and everyone can tell I am in my 'do not provoke me if you want to live' mood. "There is a mission that we would like you to do" Fury states. "When?" I ask, remembering my promise that I would be there tomorrow on Peter's birthday. "Tomorrow" everyone states and I say "no" in an instant. "Did you just tell me no?" Fury asks, obviously pissed. "Yes I did, I told everyone a month ago that I would not do ANYTHING with or for you guys on august the 10th and I meant it. I have plans" i state getting more and more pissed by the second which everyone can see i am a ticking time bomb at this moment. "With who brother?" Thor asks curiously because no one thinks I have friends on earth. Which i don't but still. "No one you know," I say gritting my teeth and Clint, Bruce, and Sam are shaking at the venom laced with every word I say.
"This mission could either be you or 3 people. And you are telling us no?" Stark asked, pissed because if I said no like fury thought he would... Tony himself would be one of the 3 avengers that have to go. "I said no and I mean it," I say and now Steve is starting to shit himself. "Brother, it is not normal to stab people here," Thor says scared and worried because he saw me summon a dagger. "I don't care. If he or any one of you ask me that question one more time you are going to have 2 fewer teammates even if that means i go back to the dungeons" i say pointing a dagger at stark, i obviously wouldn't because now i have peter and i have to protect him at all costs but no one needed to know that. I can sense the fear radiating off everyone but Natasha. Even fury but he is easily hiding it. "You can go, i will help the boys recover" nat states amused how if i am in the right mood i could make anyone die with a glare. "Good," I say then vanish back to my house and cuddle up with Peter for the last 10 minutes of the movie.
Peter's POV
Dad just appears next to me and then he gets under the blanket and pulls me in close to him and we cuddle for the last 10 minutes of the movie. "You liked the movie?" dad asks me. "Yes! It was great! But I'm kind of hungry now..." "Come, I will make you anything want," Loki says as he picks me up and carries me on his side to the kitchen. "You said I could have anything? Dessert for dinner?" i ask wanting ice cream. "No, even tomorrow on your birthday you will have proper meals than any extra food you want i will get you" i huff in defeat and mumble "pasta please". Dad chuckles then starts to make pasta.
Loki's POV
I just put Peter to bed now. I am setting up everything for Peter tomorrow. After I am done setting up for Peter's first birthday with me, I read for a little while then go to bed. I wake up at 6 am like always then read until 8 am when I go to Peter's room and gently shake him awake.
"Wake up pyotr, happy birthday" he just groans. I can tell he didn't go to sleep until late because he was too excited and that is why he is really tired. He then rubs his eyes and says "repeat that again" because he clearly didn't hear me the first time. "Wake up, Pete. Happy birthday." he then jolts up and I laugh at his reaction and he starts dragging me out of his room all excited "come on then" and with that, I have been dragged into the kitchen. "What would you like for breakfast?" "something Asgardian," he says excitedly because he loves Asgardian meals but easily prefers earth sweet because Asgard only has pastries and fruit or nuts for dessert. I am tired and don't want to waste time so I magiced up a traditional Asgardian breakfast. We then open up presents and I can tell by the look on his face that this is the best birthday he has ever had which makes me smile at that. We spend the day playing games, eating, opening presents and then we decide to watch a movie.
"What would you like to watch pyotr?" "I wanna watch the titanic. I have never seen it but i heard a bunch of people dive off a boat into the water so when that happens we are going to give them diving scores" he says excitedly and i just put on the titanic. After we watch the Titanic and give everyone diving scores we have dinner then watch 2 more movies while eating snacks. The last movie we watched was Frozen and I was complaining that magic doesn't even look like that and pyotr just giggles.
